Sorry but this review was meant to come under SUMMERSET AGED CARE FACILITY. NOT BAGEL AND SWEET CAFE.Visiting a friend who felt like she had been in jail during Covid lockdown and red light times. Many elderly who have been confined to rest homes have not been able to have face to face contact with family or friends for months. This has been very detrimental to mental health for so many otherwise cheerful and active people. Retirement villages have also been a place of incarceration for all residents. I'm so glad that my husband and I have been able to have freedom of movement on our lifestyle property during these last over 2 years. I recognise that the staff have been amazing, sacrificing their own freedoms to keep their charges safe. These caregivers do not receive compensation for the careing work they do.
