Look, I don't know why people have put 1 star rating on here but from my experience Solution Street was very welcoming in showing us their homes and very transparent about their process. Sean, our sales consultant was very professional, easy to talk to, and helped out in ways he could. Even though we didn't go ahead with the Sale, I still thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Probably need more legal guidance in terms of signing any document at their end as a point to offer from a customer perspective but I wish Solution Street the best in the future!

A great experience buying our first home with Solution Street. Sean was friendly and quickly answered any questions we had. Tricky buying a house during level 4 lockdown, but Solution Street and Sean made the process quick and painless. Would highly recommend to anyone looking at buying!

We have just moved into our Solution Street home a few weeks ago and it has been absolutely amazing.From the first meeting at the show home all the way until settlement the Solution Street team have been wonderful. They are excellent at communicating. We received very frequent progress updates and they were always fast to respond to questions.They were fast to communicate during the 2021 COVID-19 lockdowns so we were never left wondering what was happening with construction.It was a great comfort to know our house was being built by a company with integrity, especially after reading about other less than trustworthy developers in the news.The finish quality is fantastic, a terrific amount of care and eye for detail has gone into our home. It is warm and dry even heading into winter.Very happy first home buyers!

Would never recommend. Not quality built. Issued a 3 week delay, 2 days after signing even though at signing gave full confidence of date. A 3 week delay doesn't come up in 2 days. Completed my defects report prior to settlement so they had time to complete before we moved in so it was easier for them so they did not have to work around furniture. There were about 200. Only 1 got completed prior to settlement. Approximately a further 10-20 were completed but took at least 2 years to get completed. After that went MIA and unresponsive. When followed up through the society with building integrity and defects which come under their warranty either palms you off with excused for delays or just doesn't respond. 3 years after being completed the society is still trying to get the bin door closer fixed/replaced which rusted out within 6 months of completion. Incompetent design as they were not using products fit for purpose. Our fan caught fire after 3 months which lead to them having to replace everyone's in the complex, another poor design. Another tenant had a leaky roof and they took weeks to respond and months to fix.

Just gone unconditional but house yet to be built so will update accordingly next year.My overall impression is they actually care about first home buyers. Sean in particular, but also Carol provided good general advice especially about new builds, home loans, and gave out a first home buyers book, long before we gave an indication of seriously pursuing their products.They go out of their way to communicate and provide any information.Once we 'reserved' a unit, we had 10 days for due diligence, which was extended without effort due to level 4 rules coming and slowing us down. Sean kept in regular contact through this period and is easy to talk with.The builds don't look premium, the contract gives you very little say, and the sunset clause was 2 years on our development, but you have to compromise somewhere to make it affordable, and they seem to have put effort in where it counts (homestar).Cheers team, looking forward to the finished home!

Good start, poor finish.Initially this group are ingratiating, strong salespeople with a straightforward approach to a property purchase. After securing my home with Solution Street, I was informed the following year that the entire development had been cancelled due to water supply issues encountered that could not be resolved with the local authority. My deposit was returned to me along with a bare minimum of interest. In the interim period, communication regarding any delays to development progression had been absolutely minimal.Solution Street made no effort to offset the incredible disruption to life that this then triggered. The most basic of token of understanding was never offered beyond a phone call.Solution Street demonstrated an abject failure of due diligence as a result of their strategy to sell plans as fast as possible to obtain finance to further explore the viability of a development.This affected not only myself, but around 40 other parties as has been raised in the media.On my requesting further information to substantiate reasons given for cancellation of the development and my purchase, Solution Street became increasingly obstructive to the point of refusing to provide any evidence of the apparent issues without my following legal avenues.I will continue to pursue the above, as I am concerned regarding the reluctance of Solution Street to provide evidence, that this may be an indication of much larger integrity issues with the firm.Potential buyers beware, consider a developer with a longer track record of reliability otherwise by the time you regret your choice, it will be far too late...The following is my response to the Solution Street reply below -The initial sentence 'we are sorry to hear that you feel you have had a negative experience' demonstrates well the attitude problem that this developer has - condescending and disconnected.I cannot imagine who might regard my experience as anything but a negative one?! This beggars belief...The determination to avoid an apology is also plain for all to see. Rather than apologising for my feelings, please consider apologising for the failure of the development. Taking some responsibility for the final outcome would be worthy of the respect such a venture might merit, rather than apportioning blame to the council and expert advisors. These are challenges any and all developers must contend with.It is also unclear which apparent inconsistencies in my review are being referred to.To regard contact with members of your team as 'tokens of understanding' is naive at best. Such communication channels are a basic provision of all customer relationships. The fact that this is perceived as a sufficient response under the circumstances highlights a gaping void of understanding in this regard from Solution Street.Your explanations regarding your efforts to perform due diligence are a repetition of our prior correspondence.My concerns stand:1. Lack of communication2. Lack of substantive evidence.3. Lack of an apology.Privately by email, I had requested contact details for your legal representation, however, this until now has not been forthcoming from you. I again request this.

Great sales process. The people at Solution Street are always there to answer any questions you might have. When you reserve a house you get a 15 work day due diligence period during which you can cancel for any reason. This gives you peace of mind and time to check everything with your lawyer etc.We are looking forward to moving into our first home soon.

Sean was lovely, had great customer service from my first phone call to showing us around the open home, have had ongoing communication from Jacquie and also a personalised video from the Director.
