Love the vibe here!! They offer a great selection in the menu but would appreciate a more authentic approach, closer to true Malaysian flavours. Overall we had a great experience here and will definitely come back.

Being pregnant in my 2nd trimester, I've been hit hard with the biggest cravings for anything Malaysian. So today it was a lucky thing my nose led me to the front of this restaurant. Both my husband and I loved the place and the service. The food was amazing. Simple menu, but everything we ordered really hit the spot and the portions were quite generous. I had to help" the husband finish his curry laksa. We will be back next time to try the dessert menu"

Small place, but good for family or small groups. Food is excellent. Tasty dishes from Malaysia. Good ambience, and soft background music.There's also a bar.

Excellent food with fresh ingredients. Attentive staff. Great value.One of the better Laksas in NZ and one of the few places that have chicken rendang on request.

We finally visited for the first time last night and we will definitely go regularly from now on. Welcoming and professional FOH, nice tasty food, well priced and lots of flavors. And different to other places. The restaurant is clean and cozy for a fancy or casual night out.

I be really enjoyed my experience at Lazat.I wish I could rate it higher but I felt that the flavours were dialled back a bit in relation to Malaysian food. The laksa is recommended.Overall a worthwhile experience.

Had a really enjoyable meal here. Service from Nigel the owner was good. Food was some of the best Malaysian we have ever tried! And to top it all off the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend Lazat!!
