Good and helpful staff here, but the queuing system is broke! I arrived before a few other cars and paid for my WOF before them aswell, but somehow theirs were all done and dusted before me. So I spend some of my time unnecessarily just to wait for nothing. Not very happy for this visit.Thanks for your response, and no those were not rechecks as they went through the inspections stations got everything checked as a new customer , even one of your inspector were surprised and said “oh you still here”. !

Reception service was busy which made it slow but once my request was processed things moved at a good pace. My headlights were even cleaned for me. The staff I dealt with were polite, respectful and pleasant to speak with. All in all I was happy with the visit ☺️.

Got we need licence renewal wait time was around 20 mins. Parking was difficult due to pannel shops on portage road seem use every carpark on the street. Had drop my daughter off then wait till she was done drive back.Staff were great helpful

Unfair observation conducted by Fraser. If there was any other officer at least he / she would given me. I visited two times there for my test first time Jay conducted my test was fair observation unfortunately I failed my test but I was satisfied with result. But this time I visited again there for my test Fraser conducted my test and pointed me less for not watching in the centre mirror but I was checking every mirror after every 10 seconds. And telling him what’s behind me when he was asking me what’s behind me while my test. Would never go there anymore there and I will never recommend my any of friends to visit there.

I won't even give 1 star to the staff. I think VTNZ need good staff who don't serve the customers as per their nationality. I have been noticing this so while and experience many times so I decided to write a review. If any Indian customer has 3-4 MR2A together, they ask them to wait for so long saying they can not hold the queue...fair enough it is their policy..I don't mind to wait I did it many times. For kiwis the rule is different. I waited in the queue for almost 40 minutes and when I reach the counter they asked me to wait. Just after that the manager processed 3 MR2A for the Kiwi guy who was after me in the queue. Is that fair policy?

back in april i did a restricted practical test with Eu G. failed me, with i deserved it. but he was so rude from the beginning! smelled also. body was is legit $2 at warehouse. anyways giving so much attitude towards me and my mum. he cannot communicate properly. i’m not racist but if you’re going to work as a testing officer, you need to be able to speak english properly otherwise it confuses the applicant. anyways i failed that but yesterday i did another test. failed which again i think i deserved but mostly the instructors fault FRASER S didn’t know how to be respectful nor give instructions properly. kept mumbling and messing up his words. yelled at me for missing a turn when he clearly said “at the end of the street turn right”. we were in the middle of the street! he yelled at me and scared me while driving. when he made it very clear to my mum to not make a sound because it can distract me. he’s the one that distracted me by yelling!! he’s totally unprofessional and stunkkkkk so bad, smelled like he smoked a pack of cigarettes right before he came to do the test with me, which made me keep coughing all throughout the test. and today he was my sisters testing instructor. immediately yelled at my mum again but this time only because she couldn’t find a parking spot. the place only has 5 spots!!!!! he’s so ridiculous and looks like he hates his job, has an attitude problem and definitely should take anger management classes… oh and definitely racist as his face changed immediately when he saw my sister and i. if you hate your job go find another one.

Best place for pratical driving test. At the beginning I was really nervous and anxious, but the instructor Marino R Jay with calm and positive attitude helped me to stay focused and relaxed. His kind words and encouragement made a big difference, and I'm so grateful. I hope every one gets instructor like him cuz driving test really gets into your nerves even-though you’re a good driver. Thanks You Jay.

I been there few times as support person with new drivers, Staff members are very rude and disrespectful towards clients. If you’re after vehicle service or registration, No issues but If you’re booking your driving test or any endorsement please avoid this place. These people are lack of compassion and customer services.

Just sat my restricted test at 8:30am today.I PASSED!!I had Jay as my driving instructor, could not recommend him more!! Very lucky if you have him for your test. Made me feel so much less nervous and he gives the best feedback and ways to improve along the way. I appreciate Jay a lot. Thank you Jay! YOUR THE BEST!

Arrived and was 4th in the recheck queue, waited just over 2 hours to have one tyre checked to pass my recheck for a WOF. I would have left but had a car in front and behind so not choice but to wait, staff friendly but unfortunately an incredibly slow experience.
