Waipu Caves Farm Park
Visited the caves today with my boy 8 years old. We absolutely loved it, the caves are awesome. There's still a lot of work that they are doing to the place but when it's finished it will be amazing. Awesome location for it. The lady at reception is absolutely lovely she is so the right person for that job and our guide through the caves was an absolutely warm friendly guy. Thank you waipu caves farm park totally worth it♥️

Hidden gem - A beauty of the cave system with growing glow worm ecology. It's a must-visit destination for those looking to experience the beauty of New Zealand's natural wonders.Ian (our guide) was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the cave system and the glowworms that inhabit it. They provided us with fascinating information about the biology and behavior of the glowworms, making the experience even more engaging and informative.

A brilliant experience. Cindy was a very knowledgeable guide and allowed us plenty of time for photos. Some of the glow worms were right up close. Plenty of parking and turn around for large vehicles and campers. Highly recommended for a cave and glow worm experience.

Waipu Caves Farm Park
What a fabulous experience! The caves are extraordinarily beautiful with tones of stalactites and stalagmites....and it was so interesting to hear of the evolution and processes involved in their creation.We saw glow worms and even a couple of cave spiders.... high up.The place has been carefully designed to make walking through the cave very easy, without compromising the natural beauty and environment.We had so much fun, and will definitely be back. Top job Ian and Cindy.

Waipu Caves Farm Park
We have done this tour and are thrilled. Prices are reasonable. Small groups. Caves are very natural, each visitor gets a flashlight. Adventurous but still doable for everyone. Guide was great and could tell a lot. In contrast to the Waitomo caves, photography is allowed here. This tour is definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Waipu Caves Farm Park
Hey we were the first clients ever on Sunday, the tour was awesome and Ian the tour guide knows his trees and history of the area. Was extremally educational and a lot of fun going into the cave. Easy access into the cave with a concrete walkway inside. No steep climbs or any weird ways to crawl around inside the cave. The glow works are awesome to see as we have never seen something like that. My son and parents enjoyed every moment of it.If you want to know the history of the area and learn about the native trees and caves this is the best spot to visit.Hope this cave is the success you are aiming for with your family!!

What a fantastic and fascinating place to visit and enjoy. The tour through the Milky Way Cave was extraordinary and Cindy, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, pointing out many interesting things. I also loved the Natural Rock formations on the Tomo walk. Thank you Ian and Cindy for sharing your amazing Waipu Caves Farm Park and providing a top experience.

Fantastic tour of the cave with the glow worms everywhere! Great tour of the cave with lots of information about the different formation as well as conservation efforts. Some lovely walks as well and a few out-door top-rope routes around as well. Highly recommend visiting this very friendly place for an afternoon!

Waipu Caves Farm Park
Well worth the drive from Auckland for a day trip. The guide was knowledgeable and the talks on the way to the cave and inside were informative. There were young children in our tour group and the guide was very understanding of them and managed them very well. The caves are amazing, what a lot of work must have gone into preparing the walking platforms! Great to see glow worms, cave wētā, fresh water crayfish and the cave structures.

Waipu Caves Farm Park
Have just taken a group of 49 children to this amazing destination! Ian and Cindy have been amazing to work with, so helpful, flexible and accomodating.All of the children went on the cave tour, explored rock formations and vines, build dams, swam in a water hole and went on a bush walk! The day was full of adventure and excitement. An incredible place to visit and we had 49 very happy children at the end! Would highly recommend visiting Waipu Caves Farm Park!
