What a fantastic place. Friendly staff, great coffee, delicious bagels (and gluten free options!), and eye catching beauty and art everywhere! I could hardly leave. A must see in Nelson.

Thank god for the Red Art Gallery café! When almost everything else in Nelson was closed for Labour Day, and four visitors from out of town were beginning to despair, we found this fabulous little place. Lovely friendly staff, delicious bagels, great coffee and tea, and a really pleasant airy arty space. Highly recommended!

Very cute gallery and cafe combo! A fun space to enjoy a morning drink while out for a stroll.The shop has lots of beautiful jewellery and art pieces, baby clothes and toys, cards and books.

Nice shop, ginger loaf/cake was delicious, but we had the worst flat whites we'd ever had at a Nelson cafe. Both were extremely bitter and tasted burnt, added 2 sugars and still couldn't get the bitter taste out of my mouth.Go for the art and cake not the coffee.
