The lady at the main checkout was very rude, I brought a phone case and it didn’t fit my phone tried to return it not even 5 mins after I purchased to exchange for another Nope wasn’t aloud too, had to keep the one that wouldn’t fit my phone and buy a new one. Definitely won’t be coming back here.

Having to queue twice just to do the job of what employed staff should be. Firstly to operate a checkout, secondly to have a receipt scanned upon exiting the store for an additional unjustified reason.More often than not, entire sections of this store are a mess, including stock scattered, empty shelves, broken packaging etc.

Don’t get me wrong Kmart is great. But the procedures and staff borderline on useless. Drove across town to get a product that was in stock, asked and the staff member said she had been looking for them the other day but there was none. Instead of updating the stock, nothing was done. She said Riccarton had some showing but it shouldn’t be trusted and I should call. But agreed no one would likely pick up the phone.What a joke for a big store like that.Frustrating because Kmart does what they do well…..

The stock is great at the moment. Shelves are really full which is awesome. Too many cages full of stock down alot of isles which makes it hard to get to products.Older lady up the front is very grumpy and rude to customers. 3 times I've been in and over heard how she talks to people. I work in customer services and know that customers can get needy and rude and that's not cool, but I think she needs a holiday. Would hate to work with her. On a lighter note please be kind to staff, they just work there, customers also need to fold shiz up and put it back tidily and how it's found rather then dumping anywhere and making more of a mess. Great parking. Very strange how checkouts and services are in the middle of the store. Always a long line to pay.

Trying to get hold of management about incorrect price and issue with false pricing.Two customer service staff online can't be bothered and refuse to put me through to managersI will be taking this to the commisioner for unfair pricing in store.

Inconsiderate, unhelpful, and really bad Customer Service from the Manager 6-7ish pm Saturday 3rd June.Cant say more to the previous customers comment to quote directly “They don’t know how to handle a refund or swap without being grumpy to customer. They embarrassed the customer as if the customer lied but it end up the customer was right.”

Just another Kmart, however the stock levels and store are generally kept in a better condition than the Riccarton branch.The older man doing door security was very kind and nice to chat to. Had to do a return and the checkout staff were super friendly and nice to deal with.Keep up the good work Kmart Papanui!

I happened to go in and knew exactly what i wanted being 2 items, one heavy for me.I found a young male employee who I asked to help me. He was so obliging and put both items after finding them , in my trolley.Plus a really short wait at checkout. Couldnt' be more happy with my experience
