Waro Limestone Scenic Reserve
This is so under-rated. If you love rocks, caves and climbing, then this has it all. My daughter disppered into the rock formations for about an hour, kept popping out on top of the odd large rock. Great fun. Toilets at the far end of the car park.

Such a beautiful peaceful reserve. Go for a wee walk. We stopped here on our way back home. Great place to relax stretch before you continue driving. Has toilets as well. Great place to stop for lunch and a little break. Very clean and tidy well maintained grounds.

Stumbeled across this place kinda by mistake. And I am very glad for that. Amazing… just a few metres from the main road and you are in yet another dream land paradise.+ toilets (clean and nice)+ lake to swim+ picnic tablesAnd of course the limestones
