Nice spot on the coast. Kids liked the hot chocolate. Coffees what you might expect. Seats outside caught the morning May sun.

Stopped here for lunch a few days ago. The pies were excellent - one of the best I've ever had. Totally ruined by the sullen service. I see so many reviews here about how friendly and great the service is here. Such a shame I never saw it. The girl was rude, didn't crack a smile and it was a struggle to even get a word out of her, no hello, nothing and she was just glaring at me. I was polite and don't think I did anything to warrant the terrible service. Maybe got her on a bad day, but not going to bother again - no pie is worth putting up with that. Shame.

KFC in The Puia Springs! Good food and coffee. Shame the council toilets outside weren't as well supplied.
