When I moved down to Taupo, I was pretty apprehensive to get a cut anywhere. I am pretty pedantic with my cuts/fades. I even made the trip up to Hamilton to get a fade once. It is safe to say, I love this place. Skin, razor or clipper Best fades in Taupo!Great with my son and his hair, really accommodating. They listen to what we are after. I had Jerry this morning at 9:00. Job took about 40-45 minutes as stated when I made the booking. Great barber, didn’t talk much which was great as I was still waking up, and gave me what I wanted. Professional and clean result, very happy.

Rephrasing the review about my bad service...The owner of the establishment, only listens to what suits her, and does not accept criticism from customers (even if they are right) she reverses the situation, and loves to play the victim...About my husband not stopping the barber JERRY there was no way to stop him, the barber's first action was to pass the machine N° 1 (almost bald) the half of the head, how will it change? if there is already a bald line on the child's head?We went in the afternoon because I wanted to go, my husband was just disappointed but I thought it was fair to get the money back as the cut was not done as requested and my son lost ALL of his baby hair making him look more old, which I didn't like...We asked for the hair to have a length that it was still possible to hold it, but the request was not heard, it was shaved, and when we got back there, the barber was extremely ARROGANT, ROLLING HIS EYES AND MOCKING , and for that reason, my husband got nervous and angry.It was just apologizing, and admitting the mistake, but the people of this place are too arrogant and proud for that, the owner of the establishment lacks humility and PROFESSIONAL ETHICS, since she put my husband's name exposed, and who is doing the criticize IT'S ME, and my name is already here, his name doesn't matter, because I AM that one here putting my face and said the truth.

Always very friendly but professional, I live in Welly but get my hair cut here every time I pass through Taupo. Vahrny was my hair dresser today and her was fantastic.

Exceptional hair cuts every time even with difficult curly hair! Absolutely admire the effort put in by all the staff during your appointment to make it feel comfortable, especially the hot towel at the end!!

These guys really are the best barber experience you can get. They know their stuff, take their time and don't skimp on the details. Rodel was masterful. So attentive to detail, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. Best cut I've had in ages. Plus all the little touches, like a thorough clean at the end so there's no hair on your neck, and even a warm towel wipe to get hair off your face. These fine details really are worth the money and make you feel pampered.

I just deleted my comment because I misspoke. To start, I came twice, once it was a young Maori with a lollipop in his mouth, a cool guy talked to me, and a very nice haircut. So I came back and this time it was a Mexicano who didn't speak to me at all and made the cut in 10min. Having already come I was disappointed with my second cut and this place which was no longer the same. I hope you understand. it is not because I am French that my English is not perfect that I cannot speak it.Vincent GCheers

Absolutely incredible barber shop, fantastic online booking system, that works and works well, text reminders are brilliant. Rodel is doing a fantastic job trimming and creating the long term beard goal I have in mind. Great guy who is an expert in his field, super happy he is based in Taupo. Very very happy to support this shop and its staff, great people providing a great service. Keep doing what your doing team, I have visited barber shops all over the world and you guys are up there with the best.
