Great food, service good, atmosphere good but a tad chilly for me, will dress warmer next time. Vegetarian breakfast really nice, first time having a crumbed egg" and soft yolk!! Not an easy feat I imagine?! Best Barista on this morning yay!"

Arrived in the morning & had the whole place to ourselves. Staff was extremely friendly & polite.After ordering, we sat outside for no more than 10 minutes before our food arrived.Eggs Benedict. Awesome. Amazing. Paired with a Mango smoothie & Choc Frappe.Mushrooms w. Bacon sided Hashbrown.Hollandaise sauce & mushrooms are the best we’ve had so far.Will probably be back for dinner. Stopped for lunch to break up a 6hour drive. Each of our orders (both salads and the sandwich of the day and the loaded fries) would get 5 stars. Skip the poke bowl. Staff is friendly, the place is adorable and service is FAST! Seems like they take their coffee pretty seriously and the desserts and bar looked super tempting. Gluten free options were top notch!

Had breakfast here. Good coffee and food. I wish there was two pieces of toast with my breakfast as it didn't fill me up. For the price it really should have two.

WORST service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. We arrived shortly after the dinner service started, and waited quite a while to even get a menu. We ordered very quickly then waited an hour and a half for our food to arrive COLD. I understand they were quite busy but we sat starving watching every other table seated way after us get their food, finish their food, and leave before getting ours. We were ignored by the servers and after over an hour we asked how long it would be. We were told it would be another 5 minutes then waited another 15. The table next to us waited maybe 20 minutes for their mains and received complementary drinks and a genuine apology for their wait, meanwhile all we got was a casual and insincere “sorry for the wait”. Like are you serious?? This was unbelievable! At this point we were convinced we were purposefully being given terrible service. Also, if the food was just taking long cause the kitchen was busy, wouldn’t the food be hot when we received it?? But it wasn’t. It was cold like it had been sitting on the counter for a while. We were very excited to try this restaurant and left extremely disappointed. I never usually leave reviews but this experience was too upsetting.

I had the loaded fries. It was really a big meal (definitely +1⭐) but it was quite gross. The pulled pork wasn't very good and was far out of proportion to the fries. It was also so wet that there was a soup at the bottom, which the fries absorbed making it a messy, soggy meal that I couldn't finish. The atmosphere was nice though, they just need to rework the way they serve this dish.

Lucky to get in before kitchen closed on a busy Easter Monday for a late lunch. Surcharge worth it for good food and comfy warm environs. Excellent service.

The staff are so welcoming at Sevenpenny, they're probably the main reason I'll keep going back. But it just so happens the coffee is great too! And while I didn't eat on my first visit, I was eyeing up the meals coming out and they looked very good. I promise I'll add more photos too!

Had breakfast here this morning. The young man at the counter was very friendly and helpful. It was busy at the time(8.30am) but it didn't take long my bacon & eggs on toast and coffee were served. Coffee was good, bacon & eggs were the right portions for the price( ($19.30). All in all great service, friendly staff and good food. Highly recommend.

Walking distance to the train station and a few hotels/hostels nearby. Really convenient and lovely vibe with indoor and outdoor seating, both kitchen and cabinet offerings. I had the chocolate frappe on an unusually hot afternoon and it really hit the spot! Came back for the veg frittata/quiche the next morning and just had a lovely time chilling in the cafe for a few hours. The staff are quick to serve and polite too (:
