Crowne Plaza Christchurch, an IHG Hotel

Was there for 2 nights on a business trip. Central location close to a lot of eateries. Nice views. Checked in on a rainy day with gloomy weather but was treated with some nice views of the park, sunset and the mountains the following day. Quite impressed with the modern clean rooms.

Incredible property, very central, and quiet.The decor is superb throughout, from reception to room, and all spaces in-between.What impressed me most was the staff, and their authentic can do attitude. Warm and welcoming. Nothing was a problem.In addition security after hours is excellent.

Firstly big shoutout to Anika who works at the reception, she was the first person who I spoke to before the check In and she ensured everything was spot on. Also she will be definitely a big asset to the property.Secondly Jay the night manager as he was very professional and understanding, we visited during a very bad weather in Christchurch and he when out of the way to provided us a hope that we could stay one more night if the flights do get cancelled. For me that’s true hospitality.The view and food is amazing and everything is so close by, I highly recommend this place.

Perfect location, right across Victoria Square and not too far from the central city, cafes, restaurants and Avon river.We book a room for my family and we always enjoy the stay in Crowne Plaza premises. The room is spacious enough, the beds and pillows are comfy (I'm a big fan of fluffy pillows and firm beds), amenities are great (antipodes product).Parking spots are available and we can pay at the hotel for a reasonable fee a day. The hotel is also disability friendly.Happy to be back here again
