Great salon. I've only been here once for Pierre to colour my hair at short notice, but would again at no hesitation. Everyone in the salon was super friendly - I think almost everyone smiled or said hello at some point!The procedure was explained to me and what to expect was also explained to me which was very helpful. Pierre was also very careful to make sure he finished within/near the time and budget he had quoted, which I felt was very thoughtful. He seemed pretty relaxed yet attentive to the hair and colouring which made me feel at ease.

Loved the blowout I got from Samantha on Saturday. Was passing by and decided to get a wash and blow dry to spruce myself up. Samantha listened and adapted to my hair type insecurities and did a full brushing with a little flat iron twisting at the end!Samantha left me looking polished, and I’m still getting compliments today, a good 24 hours after.Totally recommend Sam to do your hair.Toogees is not fancy nor up to the minute in decor, and the basin bowl is needing a neck pillow…but the great service, hospitality and reasonable pricing make it worth a booking!

I have to say....I'm not one that is comfortable going to the hairdresser....untill now! What a gem this salon is. I had the pleasure of Samantha coloring my hair. She was so focused, asked all the right questions and I immediately felt relaxed. Through the duration of the color I noticed that this wee salon was a bustle of regulars. A true indication of a great salon. The products they used on my hair was all natural and my hair still feels incredible.It's never felt this healthy and to be honest...never looked so good.The color Samantha suggested was perfect. I absolutely love it!. Samantha is quite the professional, and for me heaven sent!. I don't live on the North Shore but I'm definitely going to be traveling to this wonderful establishment. Samantha can now add me to her lengthy list of regulars.Thankyou so much!

Very pleasant experience- went there with my twin girls (4 year olds) to get some consultation on styling their curly hair- they were very helpful and attentive, didn't try to oversell anything, pampered them with kids' hair conditioning and gave me some good advice on maintaining their hair - believe me, I have gone to almost all salons in Birkenhead area and not one was half as good as Toogees (for kids)..special shout out to Samantha who was extremely nice with kids and her boss(didn't catch her name) who were highly skilled..that final star is for the excellent customer service which is appearing to be a luxury these days...Highly recommend..
