we definitely over ordered for two pax and had to take away the pizza in the end but every dish was so very delicious! tried the garlic butter bread, bolognese and prosciutto pizza. every thing was 10/10 especially the garlic bread which was so soft and crispy at the same time. bolognese was also one of the best i’ve eaten. it was an unassuming place from the outside but it definitely did not disappoint :) highly recommend!

Food was excellent especially the pizza much better than the pasta. but the garlic loaf was sold out by 6pm. Also service left much to be desired.

Unbeatable experience! The rustic cottage, fireplace, old school bar and extremely generous portions. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The food and experience is worth the wait and you can enjoy your drinks while you wait for the table. They gove you options for half and half pizza topping and pastas are also available in half and full sizes which made it a perfect choice for our family with 2 kids. Highly recommended.

The cow is intimate, secluded, cosy and warm. Lovely little hidden gem tucked away in main strip queenstown. Food average, best mulled wine I've had in a long time ! however service and atmosphere was spot on!

Highly recommended! The rustic cottage, fireplace, old school bar and extremely generous portions. The staff all of them was really helpful and friendly. Garlic bread and pizza was so delicious!

Decent pasta here. I got the spaghetti bolognese here a couple days ago which was good but was quite small for its price. I was still hungry after and had to get more food. I don’t regret coming here but I wouldn’t revisit

We took a couple of attempts to get to The Cow for lunch, as the info regarding open hours was contradicting on their website and Google. Eventually we got there. The place is small and cosy. We ordered Her Majesty pizza, their famous garlic bread and soup of the day (tomato). The pizza was absolutely delicious! The soup was spicy and hot. The bread was absolutely divine. We couldn't finish all the food and the lovely waitress brought us a pizza box before we even asked. The service was very warm and caring!Definitely will recommend to others! I will get back again next time.

Lovely historic building. Very busy at the time we went and we had a large group. Half our group arrived earlier to get a table and order a drink and appetizer as you cannot book. This became a bit of an issue as they like to roll people through quickly. Dinners all came out in good time. Drinks were a problem and we had to chase those up. Food was simple and nice enough. They also let us split the bill which was appreciated but seemed a little complicated as its all handwritten and they had our order slightly wrong. Fortunately the waitress remembered once asked and that was corrected. Overall we enjoyed it.
