This place is absolutely spectacular ❤️ so peaceful and quiet. You can walk straight across the road to go for a swim, and there's beautiful scenic views around the entire campsite. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed at all!

Good location powered site but it had a few issues during my stay. The laundry room was closed citing water shortage. The shower was on timer and the instruction could have been better as it mentioned 5 min hot water and 2 min pause, while in actuality it was 3 min hot water and 2 min pause. It was not a good experience to be in the cold without water. I don't think there is anyone that can finish their shower in 3 mins.

Had an amazing camp stay at this place. Very good location, beautiful view and lots to do around. Communal kitchen and bathrooms were well hygienic and kept cleaned. Recommend 100%

The place has everything you’d expect: grey water dump, large spaces for unpowered vehicles, great kitchen with lots of equipment you can borrow… the view on the lake is really nice in the morning. Just 15 min drive for Akaora.

Super friendly personal went above and beyond, shifted us to a nice spot with a view. Special thanks to Tracy! We had a wonderful stay. Will be definitely back many times! Extremely clean facilities! Can’t say a bad word about the place ❤️

Friendly staff, free wifi, easy access to all the sights around Akaroa and the bays. The facilities are easy to access and clean. Heaps of non-powered sites so we got our pick, and slept right next to the ocean.

Just got home from our 3 night stay here, family of 2 adults, 3 kids; 18 months, 4 and 8. We loved it here, clean, tidy with everything we needed for an easy stay with the kids. Tent sites are large and spacious, plenty of space with our double room tent, gazebo and car. The kids loved exploring at the beach (the stones" they called it)

Loved our stay here, asked for a quiet non powered tent site and they obliged, really appreciated the willingness to accommodate our needs. The tent site was great. We enjoyed the space we had.The only drawback for us was the communual kitchen space, first night wasn't an issue the second night (a Saturday) we couldn't get a look in on some stove top space to cook an omlette, we ended up buying dinner. I would definitely stay again, but perhaps be prepared for not having kitchen space in peak times. Thank you to the managers who run a great place stay.

Really nice spot to stay in. So scenic and peaceful. Although a bit rocky, you can go swimming in the water right next to the site which is absolutely amazing. So many gorgeous sunsets to watch! Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Short drive into town so that is also good. Facilities were good - showers and toilets were clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Would highly recommend.
