Today is the grand opening of Koi. I knew that on their FB page and I can't wait to see them.I came here around 3pm. The lovely Korean owner was friendly and kind to greet us. Must try the katsu (Deep fried) things which was crispy than any other places.Salmon was fresh, the Ocean Salmon with the delicious salad in was sooooo yummy!Definitely will be back. The sushi tastes are the best in Dunedin! Worth to wait!

Everything so fresh, great healthy alternative to the big boys surrounding it. Nice clean interior. Great quick service. Chicken Katsu Don with very crispy chicken, so good. Looks like it is a popular lunch spot with local business workers too.

I had been to this place during the weekend with my friend, and the food was perfect with high quality of services. Inside the restaurant was clean and tidy and they keep the quarantine rules very well with scanning vaccine pass. With the taste of food, spicy seafood noodle was fantastic. Seafoods inside the noodle were fresh and had no fishy smell. Also, the sushi bar was great as well. Especially, salmon sushi was really fresh and taste good with mayo and spicy sauce. I would like to visit again with my friend next week.

Had a great lunch here on a Wednesday. Came in a bit late but there was still a great selection of yummy sushi to have for a fair price. You can select the pieces you want yourself and the price for each is clearly labeled. Easy as! Nice staff and calm atmosphere - ideal to balance the mind when work's busy.

My family loves this place as others have said it can be pricey but is so much better than others in town. Also you can get some spicy seafood dishes there if you like a challenge, just ask for Jjambong and good luck.

Good option for Japanese food lovers, I tried the Bento. Miso soup is yum. The young lady staff should be more friendly and welcoming the customers. The place is quite clean and average price. The bites in the glass cabinet are yum, not cheap but worth it.

The best Asian eateries I have been to since we moved to Dunedin 3 years ago. Not only sushi are delicious & creative, their stir-fry dishes ( No 21 seafood noodle, fried rice ....etc) got to be the most delicious dishes I have tried in any Asian eateries in NZ. The shefs in the kitchen must be very good! Their hygiene & settings in the restaurant are also super. We often drive from central city to here to eat our lunch only 3 to 5 minutes.
