A decent experience. Essentially a small theater which is submerged in the water that tells you Queenstowns history, the first settlers and animals that roamed around here. Also tells you how lake Wakatipu was formed. $15 per adult. This is in the sane area from where the Kjet boats depart.

This is a fantastic attraction that is worth a visit. I recommend this for kids of all ages. I only realised it was there when I read it in a magazine even though I had walked past it. The movie was well done and not too long for little kids. Watching the fish and eels under the water was a great experience. The divebombing ducks were gorgeous

Well done!You definitely don't have to be a kid to enjoy it.At $15 its a must-do in Queenstown.Descend the stairs in the building on the pier into a cosy under-lake theater and enjoy a flight through time, touching on a bit of geology, Maori legend and history. Then be captivated by watching the long eels, various fish, and cute little diving ducks swim past the under-the-lake viewing window.

Totally better than we were expecting. The film is very informative and because it is super wide screen you feel like you are flying and diving. The screen then folds away and you are up close with real fish in by a real lake, not captive. The whole show only lasts 30 minutes which in $ per minute is expensive but in $ entertainment it’s very good value

Must visit if you are in Queenstown. The information session taking you back to 90 million years is great. Post session experience of native fish and ducks is amazing!

At $15 it's brilliant. Cool story about the formation of the lake (Maori legend and actual formation) and the fish and eels were cool to see

We had a very informative and entertaining trip into the pre-historical development of the area followed by viewing of the feeding of the various fish, eel and duck life in the lake. I didn't realise that the lake is full of the largest type freshwater eels.

Really enjoyed it. It's right where the jet pick up is. The show was nice and seeing the ducks and fishes and eels under water and up close was really great. Something everyone can do. A lady with her two kids came by too and the kids loved it as well. I took my mom and she loved it too. Definitely worth checking out.
