A beautiful building with a massive welcoming entrance. Very well layed out. The 2 ladies on reception are really great to deal with. They know when to be serious and they know when to have a joke. Will do all they can to help. They are a credit to BOPRC.

I just took a picture of the scenery in the car park and someone came to kick me out, then he said this is a private place, then was asking him this is not a public place, there are government charging posts in, then he said this is for their own use.I just want to ask, I was only here to take pictures also less than 1 minute, there is a need to come over like this to drive me away? I didn't drive either, just walked by.

Just the standard pass the buck council lost track of its purpose and is to busy employing writers to write reports about what a good job they are doing instead of putting that money back into the Bay Of Plenty.

Condescending tone by staff when queried why a separate bill for Regional council rates and why we had received a penalty only having never received bill. Regional council rates previously combined with Tauranga rates, they have now separated them because catchment for more penalties increases to rate payer as billing becomes more complex.

These guys are absolutely super. They actually try and resolve your problem rather than just fobbing you off. Well worth the small amount charged in rates to support them. Wonderful service, staffed by wonderful people.

Is thus a tradition to raise Rates almost every year or is there any better reason behind it. Why paying to Tauranga Council and BOP Council, two different rates. Getting into property ladder itself is challenging in general, and this rates stabs further. Reduce your expenses, reduce unnecessary staffs.
