Dolphin Discoveries

This morning I went into the Explore cruises office on the Pahia wharf. I asked a question to the lady on the desk. Extremely rude reply for a simple question. I would not book with them, if this is there front line staff manor. :(

As already stated... they can't deliver

Big disappointment! I wonder why they even call themselves “Dolphin discoveries”. They don’t deserve that name. Out of the 3 hours tour we saw dolphins during 20 minutes. Only saw and that’s all. Then it was like - 10 minutes of swimming (in a rush and no dolphins around, then we went quite far for 10 minutes of snorkeling in very cold water were there was nothing to see. And then we went for 20 minutes on a beach where we could buy some tea / coffee (seriously?!) I find it ridiculous. I didn’t come there and pay all that money to go for a coffee on a beach. I came to swim with dolphins! (Which I did in Kaikoura and I recommend that place, you will really swim with dolphins).Even though the place is beautiful and the staff makes jokes I regret that I did that.

Very disappointing. Yes, nature is nature and of course they cannot promise anything. 4h boat tour, friendly fun crew, no dolphins at all, 15 minutes snorkeling, that's it. Sorry, rip off. They should not sell it, if they cannot deliver. After the first info on the boat it was already clear, that there will be most probably no dolphin swimming. And if you are a traveller, it does not help at all I, if you can come back one time for free. 50% money back would feel fair. Bottom line, I would not do it again. I prefer even today to spend my time with my family instead of taking the free 2nd trial.
