We had lunch at the Inn, the meals were nice but I didn't like my Gladstone burger. I should have got the fish n chips or pizza. Good range of food and many Thai dishes as well. Plenty of parking and normally a busy place.

A lovely cafe to come to on a weekend. Very popular for gatherings. The food was good when I got the right dish. No milkshakes unfortunately. I would recommend it for a weekend drive.

Good lil pub ive been a few times...played pool had a beer on the deck... had a nice dinner and wine either inside by the fire or outside in the sunshine. Venison is yummyLovely area too, i love to sit out by the river...a real country pub.

A great country pub that has recently changed hands with the new owners friendly and the service excellent.It was established in 1870 as a ferry station allowing access from the eastern farm area across the river into Wairarapa.Plenty of dining room indoors and a large outdoor garden that sits on the edge of the river for fine days. Saturdays are popular with visitors and you're likely to spot a lot of classic cars and motorbikes, Sunday afternoon see a lot of families coming in, and Wednesday evenings are local night.The winter menu has just started and has some great options for those colder days and nights. The food is honest and delicious, if you like pizza there is quite a range as well as a kids menu.Dogs are generally welcome in the garden area and in summer you can watch the local jet boats on the river.It does get busy and wait times can be long, but it's worth the wait while you relax with a drink.

Had the Thai red curry which was great but it took a wee while to get our order taken. Sat close to the open fire but it was a bit smokey. Overall a fine experience and we will come back again.

Delicious food but a bit of a wait, great relaxed place. We had booked the balcony for my birthday but were seated somewhere else. Would of been nice if all our meals came out at the same time too. This was second time I had been there and was disappointed they no longer do wood fired pizza on the menu which is why I booked for my birthday.

A visit for lunch. Good range of drinks available with a range of seating/table options. - inside, on the covered deck or outside in the sun. Food was excellent with a good range of options. Service was great, got quite busy but the staff made sure everyone was attended in a timely fashion. Great spot to stop for lunch or dinner during your travels.
