Such a great surprise. We came in with little expectations and we were blown away with how well it was presented and organised. A gentleman who sold us the tickets himself sheered sheeps. He shared multiple interesting stories and answered even the most wicked questions. The ticket is only 10$ per adult and it is a great deal for your buck.

Very historic education of the production of wool in New Zealand. Cost $10 (NZ) each to enter, is full of actual models and tools charing the history of sheep farming and wool production. Very educational and well worth a short visit.

Wow. Don’t underestimate this humble museum. We did not think to allocate much time to this exhibition. We would recommend to at least allot 90 minutes to enjoy this large collection. We walked away with a new found appreciation for all things wool!

What a wonderful place to visit. I found it very interesting and informative. It is so well laid out and obvious a huge amount of work has gone into creating it.
