Nice set of trails, very close to the city. Good place for a quick walk or jog. Accessible from several different points. There are shelters for bird spotting along the trails.

See a few people here on frosty nights trying to photograph the Aurora to the south.I'm sure people park here on other nights for different reasons also. Good biking trails when it's not blowing.

Great little walk right on Invercargill cities doorstep. Really good for photography. There have been some hides set up to sit in while photographing but they are a bit too close to the carpark and you are better to walk around the estuary to get closer to the bird life. You will need a decent telephoto lens. Good variety of birds can be viewed. Theres always some one on the track, but its not busy at all. If you get into difficulty someone will be along. Bring a torch if you are checking out sunsets as it gets really dark and there are no lights.

This is a great place for a walk, mainly flat. Lots of different bird life. Good place to catch a yarn with other walkers.

Great walk. Very quiet on the Friday I visited.Lots of changing views and wild life. Dry track after a rainy period. Various ways to walk or drive in . I went walking from airport.

Very nice place.. it's better to visit here in day time. I have visited here at night first, it will make you scary as it will be full of dark. But in day time it's pretty awesome. Not so much to walk for the beautiful views. You will really enjoy...

It’s very beautiful place to vist and go for long walk or biking. It can be windy so wear appropriate clothes according to the weather
