Very disappointed, a couple grabbed my order sat down and opened it up in front of me then realised it was wrong after handling it all, so I got told they'd re cook it, (not their fault) but after 5 minutes I got my order and I got home and the burgers and fries were cold! They gave me the order the previous customers touched and opened! Very disgusting, super unhappy. Won't be returning.

First time getting BW from the new owners and safe to say the other reviews are correct. Such a drop in quality and service. We were given the wrong order, only to realise once we'd driven home half an hour away - called up and they didn't seem to care but acknowledged that our food was there waiting. We had to drive back in to collect, and they even insisted on keeping the order they'd accidentally given us. The server said he wanted to keep the wrong order for the staff". Would have been nice to have been offered something for the extra hour of travel."

I’ve been a fan of BW in other towns for almost 30 years since they started so while staying in Gisborne I was delighted to see one here…..but there was zero delight in receiving my regular CCC order..Burnt stale bun, miserable salad, 2 of the thinnest slices of Camembert I’ve ever seen (impressed that someone can cut it this thin tbh) and about a teaspoon of what I assume is cranberry sauce- flavourless and weird texture, then there was the “chicken” - overcooked tiny pieces and a smear of Mayo….Gone are the days of a delicious, flavour packed burger, dripping in chunky cranberry sauce with a recognisable piece of chicken breast(not sure what they use now?) and a crunchy salad where you used to have to wash your face as you could hardly get the juicy burger in your mouth….not to mention copious cheesy goodness.So do yourself a favour and save the disappointment and jog on to somewhere where they have happier staff (slamming doors, freezers, and ingredients down) who know how to make a burger. Miserable staff=miserable burger.

Very nice burger and lovely customer service, compared to other burgers franchise (Carl ... something ). Their customer service are very bad, that's why always quiet there. This Wisconsin store have a great friendly customer service ! I am back to this store several times already and I will keep coming back !

Lamb Burger with Mint sauce! Best I ever had and real lamb chunks not minced burger meat! Reasonably priced and so tasty! Great ginger beer too. Good for a quick lunch or dinner.

Tuesday night (so not busy) takeaway, beef and blue cheese burger and fries. Fries come with a choice of dipping sauce, so since blue cheese sauce was an option it had to be that. Burger was a tasty two handed affair. I ordered in store so had a short wait while my burger and fries were cooked. Waiting area clean and comfy. Service was polite and efficient.

Burgers good enough to please a couple of picky Americans! We especially enjoyed the California and Fish burgers but also like the blue cheese burger. Recommended!

Totally satisfied with our meal last night, the chips were delicious, crisp and I could have just had the chips without the dip, but I enjoyed them so much, my California burger was sublime, thanks for an excellent meal and your smiles, will definitely be back for the Best Burgers an chips in Gisborne/Tairawhiti .
