Unfriendly staff, $40 is pretty steep when you also have to pay $2 for a shower and no place to put clothes when having a shower so its get undressed and dressed out in the main toilet area. Stayed 1 night then went 2kms up the rd to a nice camp with nice big showers and toilets, very friendly camp owners and only $20 for a powered site. And yes you have had complaints about the showers. Its in other reviews. The other camp is exactly 2kms up the rd towards Alexabout the

Such a lovely camping ground, very friendly staff and clean facilities. Highly recommend staying here! Our girls love camping here, everything is within walking distance and a playground across the road. 10 out of 10!

Great camp site and managers. Spent two weeks over Xmas here with my kids. Managers will not put up with any unruly behaviour and rule breakers. Defo will be back again. Thanks for a great break Gary and Roslyn.

Unfortunately it blew like crazy both nights we were there so little sleep was had. Manager didn't seem too happy to see us on arrival. Very strange behaviour. Wouldn't stay here again. However, showers were free and hot.

Tiniest shower stalls EVER with absolutely nowhere to put anything if you don't want to dry and dress in the 'team' area.But the shower was hot and long enoughLots of signs about childrenPets definitely not welcomeI was curious about all the unoccupied caravans taking up all the best spots ... storage?

Superbly located for Otago Rail Trail, Roxburgh Gorge, Clutha Gold and Dunstan. Very quiet, lovely owners, very clean, good kitchen and bathrooms. Had a cabin one night and pitched a tent for the rest of the week.

Very handy location. We were lucky enough to get a shady park on our second day when someone left. As the weather was pretty hot during our stay it would have been a bit uncomfortable if we had been in full sun but great on the shade. Facilities were clean.

Friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble, very clean and tidy. they kindly allowed us a late check out after riding the dunstan which was much appreciated it took the stress out of a fun day knowing we didnt have to rush and the shuttle timings were late in the day.... big area suitable for large caravans and motor homes. would stay there again. thank you Gary and Roslyn.
