Happy Nails and Beauty

Not very impressed with my nails or service. I was moved from the spa seats to the waiting area for my toes to get dried and then just left there. No instructions or what to do or how long to wait. The lady never came back. I waited as long as I could about 15mins and left. When I got home this is how my nails looked like. To spend $50 on this, it’s sad to say I won’t be going back.

Been here thrice. Good service all around. They did a really nice job with my first extensions and answered all my questions. love the new colour.

I wouldn’t recommend this business. I went to get acrylic infills on Monday from this place. I live in Auckland and the acrylic nails I’ve had on for more than one month needed to be infilled and two had fallen off (this is normal after having them in for 1 month). Today is Sunday and 6 of the acrylic infill nails from happy nail have all ready come off and I also received a very patchy paint job that didn’t sit nicely on my cuticle line. I paid $75 for these nails. I pay half the price in Auckland for twice the quality. If I was still in New Plymouth I would go back and ask for a refund. The lady who did my nails was really nice and the service was not rude however I’m not sure she knew what she was doing. I’m really disappointed at the quality of these nails as they are all ready no longer on my nails for such a huge cost. Unfourtunatley I would not recommend.

Great people don’t get me wrong. Was hard with the whole language barrier to communicate what I wanted to change. Went in and spent $90 for some pretty poor nails that haven’t even set properly today with air bubbles. Super rough finish. Nails don’t look that well done. My eyebrow tint unfortunately is already starting to wash out. As well as it really not compensating with my eyebrow scar that I mentioned to the beautician to think about when doing my eyebrow shaping and tinting. Overall, felt like a really rough job. Wouldn’t pay $90 for the nail pedicure, eyebrow wax and tint. Even though it’s a reasonable price I’d rather go elsewhere.

I was a walk-in wanting both a spa pedicure and full set of extensions. They were able to fit me in after only a 30 min wait which was great. The young guy running the bookings was really friendly and patient when I was being indecisive (always hard to pick options when there are so many choices.).The store was tidy and the staff had a pretty casual approach, while still doing a really good job

I did the nails two days before on Friday evening from here and on Sunday it broke. It is so heartbroken. I gave 80$something not just for one day nails. It is so disgusting that they did it so wrong it broke too easily. I just feel like I wasted my money here. I’m still giving two stars because I like the lady who did it but didn’t expect that.

Full set of acrylic did not even last 2 weeks. Nails fell off. Paid $85... what a waste. Do not recommend. They also use very cheap products

My daughter who is 14 went in last Friday 18th Nov 2022 to get her nails done for a funeral -they charged her $82 of which she used her early Christmas money. One day later one fell off which they replaced for free. Five days later four fell off. She went in and tried to see if they would replace them for her and they said they couldn’t do them for free as the manager wasn’t there and they redid two as she had glued two back on herself. They charged her $16. I go to another nail salon in town and they stay on for three weeks before I get them redone and other people I know theirs stay on for 6 before they go in -unfortunately her and her friend didn’t go there as they were in centre city and wanted a walk in appoinment. I am extremely disappointed in happy nails for her and sad for her as that was her Xmas money she has paid for a terrible quality service.Nails should last longer than 7 days.

Worst Experincw getting nails today.1) no staff member who could communicate effectively , as none of them knew English.2) during manicure , very rough, I was in pain and not done professionally either .

Happy nails unhappy customer… while booking lady said they can do any design and when reached on booking they said it takes time we can only do simple. On phone they said they can do cat eye and have variety but in person they said no only single color and quick one… zero number for customer service. I will never recommend happy nails to anyone. Spent $90 and quality is zero… disappointed
