Did you know that hidden away in a suburban street in Somerfield is Christchurch's own version of the 'Repair Shop' as featured in the TVNZ series?Specialising in electronic repairs, the guys at Aimac will take your old non-working item and work their magic on it to make it function again.In our case, they took our old Roberts push button radio and brought it back to life again by installing a new aerial. repairing the on-off function and supplying a new mains adaptor.Now we can enjoy the radio again in the old school way!If you have something electronic which no longer works, I suggest giving these guys a try first and supporting on of our local small businesses.

Awesome company that were superb to deal with on a non standard foaling alarm fix. Was very impressed with the prompt service and great attitude to give something out of the ordinary a go. So pleased I found them and definitely recommend. Keep up the great work.

Michael of AIMAC recently repaired my forty year old NAD amplifier. It sounds as good as, if not better than, new - simply fabulous - thank you so much! And very reasonably priced. It has been a pleasure doing business with you. Now, if only Michael could restore my hearing as well.....

Fixed the remote for my UK caravan mover, saving me thousands having to buy a new one! Awesome people and awesome company! Will definitely use again and would recommend anyone to call them first! Don't throw it away!

I have been for some time trying to find a company to repair top end 70,s hi Fi equipment . It was a chance conversation with an electrician who pointed me in the direction of AIMAC.Having dropped of the three items I was pleasantly supplied to get a call four days later to say they had been repaired and ready for collection. Top job and I fully recommend anyone who has hifi equipment in need of some TLC this is the place to go.

I have an Alpine Sauna which was installed outside under cover around 6 years ago, we had a electrician from Alpine Spa's quote us over $700.00 to replace the main circuit board and a slave board plus labour. Michael and his team came out and fixed / repaired the existing boards for a fraction of the cost and we are now happy customers of a fully working sauna. I had a 32 year old midi system that had been damaged in courier transit and didn't expect to get the turntable going again. Much to my delight it (and CD-ROM player tray) was fixed in 1 day. Absolutely blinding. I am thrilled that my 21 years old purchase lives to fight another day! Thanks AIMAC

Great business to deal with. We had a remote for our gas fire that suddenly stopped working for no clear reason. The manufacturer (Escea) gave us a quote for a whole new remote and igniter which came down to over $700! Aimac Electronics fixed it for $92 and it works like a dream again. It really serves to check with Aimac first! Friendly and prompt service. Highly recommended!
