New World Durham Street

This is the nicest super market ever, I was down in Christchurch from Auckland, and I entered this new world and it was amazing everything was clean they have a scanner to pay for food when going though the store, the store looked amazing. Even the staff looked approachable and they were even cleaning the bottom of the shelving, very impressed wish we had something like this in Auckland

Oh yum, looks like pigs have been in this trough. A beautiful store as in fixtures and fittings, but the merchandising and cleanliness definitely let it down. Hopefully teething troubles.

Sorry, but after years of shopping here I will not be going again. Some very friendly staff, but they don't know how to give customer service, which involves a lot more than asking how your day is.About a year ago I spent some time putting together a detailed email praising some aspects of the store, and suggesting changes in other areas. I didn't even get an acknowledgement back.My main gripe is that the salad bar is always closed by about 7.30pm, apparently because a deep clean" is necessary. That obviously must take 2.5 hours as they don't close until 10pm. Guess what? Lots of people work and can't go shopping until after 7.30.I've spoken to the customer service desk about it at least 3 times

New World Morehouse really is an awesome little grocery shop.Very friendly and helpful staff and for the size of the store has a fantastic range. They maybe a little more expensive than pak n save but are a better store by far.That’s my opinion anyway.Just have to add a little bit about NW Durham.I’ve just done my weekly shop, which isn’t a lot to be honest, but they have new staff and the new checkout lady I got was bloody shocking. She couldn’t give a dam about the products I had bought, she just threw them in the bag without a care in the world.Even the younger fresh faced teenagers are better than this woman, she is absolutely shocking.If I get her next time I’ll be making my thoughts heard and this woman will hopefully be either put out the back or sacked.

Really well maintained and presented. Usually a New World is the better at it. It stays here too. Have got EV charging points, a cafe, groceries, dairy, deli, seafood, butchery, beer and wine etc. There is a BNZ ATM too. Just by the main road. Self checkout is available. Loved shopping there. Plenty of onsite parking available.

Myself and another lady have come into New World today and both got a Salad from the salad bar. I would like to say that the choices are amazing and super delicious and Lynn that was working in there is there making sure nothing is running low and presentation was fantastic - to you Lynn you do a wonderful job and you are appreciated :-)

I love the product range here, but the serivice is a bit hit and miss. I've enjoyed lovely customer service most times, but this morning, these two girls acted hostile when I had the audacity to bring my groceries to them to do their job...it must have interrupted a really important conversation..

Well maintained and presented range of produce. This is my NW of choice. Great car park always a park and multiple ways to exit!Great selection through out supermarket too!

A great new modern store for the city. Looks clean & fresh. Amazing range of produce. The deli counter has everything you need. And they have a cafe which does a decent cup of coffee.

Large store, many vegan products - some in sections designated “Plant based”. Bulk food section and refillery station. Self-serve checkout and pleasant cashiers.Café inside (One 7 Five) has some vegan items, including a breakfast wrap and treats.
