Gohan Japanese Restaurant
We had a most Delicious meal of seafood teppanyaki, Pork Tonkatsu, Tempura Soba and Agadeshi Tofu. Great food great value. Highly recommended

I would like to give more stars but I can not.I saw many good reviews, pictures of food. I saw one picture with ramen one year ago with good portion of meat, mushrooms and more everything but I got 1/4 of mushroom, maybe 10 pieces of corn and very, very salty broth in ramen for $20. I am ramen lover and I know this restaurant is not only for ramen but still, id they have it on the menu for this price it should be better. Don buri was on lunch special but it is appetizer not main meal. If you are a man you will be more hungry after this. We waited 30 minutes for food, we were first of the day here.I am very sad.But inside restaurant is everything nice and clean and staff is very, very nice! They could not be even nicer but it is not about this at all. Should be about food.

Gohan restaurant is a first class restaurant.Food is OUTSTANDING and lady who owns restaurant is such a lovely lady.If I could give more stars I would and this restaurant is certainly worth a visit.Thanks for a wonderful meal.

Gohan Japanese Restaurant
Very mixed experience. One waitress on tonight who struggled to keep up with a full house. One other who was only doing drinks as well.The sushimi was well presented, but on the thin side and tuna was a bit sinuous.Gyoza were not great, very soft for the fried version, so much that they nearly fold in half.Beef Tataki was not good - odd jelly, cold, chewy and took nearly an hour to arrive (apparently our order went tot the wrong table). They were very nice about this and kindly took it off the bill.The teriyaki ginger salmon was the best dish of the night.

Gohan Japanese Restaurant
There is a reason Gohan is often full. It makes the best Japanese food in Blenheim -- no contest. And Bo and her husband look after their diners so well. There are so many dishes we like, but our favourites are the grilled salmon and the chicken teriyaki. Absolute comfort food that tastes beautiful!

Fantastic food. Amazing service. The owner is absolutely lovely and welcoming.I'm lactose intolerant and were extremely accommodating.I'll definitely be coming again the next time I'm in Blenheim. Will be our go to place when we pass through!!

Gohan Japanese Restaurant
Highly recommend! If you wanna an unique Japanese food experience in Blenheim, that's the place! Going to Gohan since their opening and tried pretty much every dish on their menu, I am never disappointed. The flavours are always amazing, beautiful presentation and generous portion for a very reasonable price. Thank you for the careful customer service, always been a good moment there!
