Stratford Motel & Holiday Park
I wish I lived here. The park itself it well laid out, clean, quiet, tidy. There is an indoor pool, washing machines and dryer work. The staff are always welcoming and helpful.There are beautiful bush/ river strolls directly on the fence line. If you drive a bit you'll be at the mountain/Maunga/volcano for a proper tramp.Town, cafes, supermarket are a moderate walk or very short drive away.I am very impressed. This sets a high bar for holiday parks.

A good basic campground. We did not need to book a tentsite even during Easter. The kitchen could do with a few more heating elements for pots. One didn't work and the others were busy even though the camp was not anywhere near capacity.

No charging port near the bed, the floor looked dirty, it was rather dusty, the dryer didn't work, toilets were a bit far away, the communal kitchen was very basic. Very basic services. Not bad considering the rooms were cheap though, and the location was good.

Friendly & welcoming staff. Great facilities - very clean and well equipped. Big bonus is that it is dog friendly and some great walks through King Edward park nearby. Loved our (short) stay here and will definitely be back.

The Lady at the reception was so friendly and welcoming. Just went the extra mile to be helpful. The swimming pool is great, nice location and tidy grounds.

Nifty little place. We were there on a wet weekend. But it wasn't too bad. Lots of people can sleep in the little cabins, and that's a lot of moisture. Otherwise it's an excellent little place. Pool was nice. Toilets were cleaned well.

We've stay a couple times but its only to lay our heads for 1 or 2 nights. Staff are great, rooms are tidy, toilets clean, pool is great! We look forward to our Xmas stay.

Nice place. Super owners, who are so friendly. Small park, which is a good thing. Bathrooms spacious and clean. Basic kitchen can get busy at peak times. Indoor pool was welcome. Very quiet location. I'd stay again.

We stay there when we come down to midhurst for dog shows.Very pet friendly, right beside a big rugby field and a lovely stream so taking the dogs for a walk and swim is great.It is definitely our go to place to stay.

Fantastic camp to stay especially during that stormy weather. Great and very clean facilities, showers are awesome. Bush walks were loved by us and the dog. Highly recommend
