Vivo Hair Salon Avonhead

Marque has cut and coloured my hair twice now and the end result has been stunning, love the cut and colour, and am booked in monthly now to have my hair redone, I was so impressed by Marques ability to style and cut , that last week we chose her to restyle cut and colour my 80 year old mothers hair. She done an amazing job with Mums hair and managed to give Mum a style that made her look 10 years younger. I would highly recommend Marque to anybody who is looking for a hairdresser that can give you everything you ask for and more.

I wanted to have some ombre done for a while but on a bit of a budget and saw that they did a new client special for $169 so booked in for that. Booked in with Tash and got the colour done and a treatment to lock it in as my hair has red undertones and didn't want it to go orange. Went for a light ash blonde and left roots as is brown. After the first day (and sleeping on it so the curls wore out) I noticed the next day the blonde was very warm and some of my red undertones were very visible. I called and booked in for a week later to have it retoned - the blend was fine but it was just way warmer than I had hoped. Tash re-toned it and re-treated it and I left absolutely stoked, my hair just really needed that extra tone to bring the warmth down and get that ashy feel. Really pleased with the outcome and how she made sure that I was happy with the final result. I know sometimes it can be intimidating to go back if you arent sure about the final result but Tash was so friendly and professional and just awesome! Would definitely go back to her :)

My hair color was uneven and wasn’t the color I asked for :( I asked for black and got a mid/dark brown :((( not very pleased, won’t be coming back unfortunatelyI went back to get it fixed because it was free, my hair is ruined. There are multiple colors through my hair and it’s bleeding. I have cold showers I use color safe shampoo and conditioner, I’m honestly very upset and I am considering getting my money back. It’s meant to be black, however it has red, orange blue tones all through it to the point it’s so patchy and not black at all. I Highly suggest that you don’t go here.

I had my latest great colour from Emma today, which also marks the one year anniversary of me changing hairdressers to her. My hair was in a pretty bad state with my previous hairdresser at a different salon not having taken a lot of care when taking me from dark brown to blonde so she had a lot to make right. We've had a great year, my hair looks and feels amazing and I really appreciate the time that she spends to ensure I walk out feeling fabulous.

Absolutely love my hair! Thank you Libby, you did an AMAZING job. Definitely takes a special hairdresser to get blonde right without damaging the hair, but you did it!!! Thank you! I'll definitely be back!

Whenever I come to the salon I feel like the team really cares and wants me to have a lovely experience. They're colour specialists and their clients look fab. The staff seem happy and there's a positive vibe, which gives me confidence that they're well looked after by their employer. This is important to me. Happy staff = hapoy customers = happy staff = ...

Really lovely English hairdresser that respected my time limitation in the salon and did such a fantastic job of my hair. So friendly and down to earth too!

I've been meaning to do this Review for a while as I have been seeing Emma at Vivo for some time now. I was a bit shy of hairdressers after not having the best experiences and a couple of hellish haircuts. My first visit consisted of fixing a seriously bad colour and recently shaven back of my hair (was going for a concave bob !!) So I was in a state by the time I went to Vivo The staff and Emma have regained my faith and brought me out of the pits and completely transformed my colour to awesome with excellent knowledge and guidance. My hair was hard to bring back from the state it was in but they have worked magic with what I had and have helped me look awesome as I grow it back... Thank the Lord! I have found the staff very pleasant and have fantastic communication with manager to make sure they spot on with the clients. Friendly atmosphere and Emma is very personable , easygoing and real... she also LISTENS which is a major factor when hair is involved. I also recommend her out at the drop of a hat as I know she is the Bee's knees = D

Just had my hair cut here, and the woman butchered my hair. Asked for a bob up to the bottom of my neck and now have chin length hair!!! I am soooo upset. Never go to this place if you value your hair!!!!!!!

I bought a grabone voucher for colour and cut. The lovely lady said I would not be disappointed. The colour did not stick to the parts of my hair that she bleached. She said come back in 1 week and I will fix it free of charge. I had a headache but I went back excited to have it fixed. After talking to the manager Emma, they decided that I have to pay because I must be using the wrong shampoo . Prior to this appt I had asked whether it was possible to colour black hair. She also told me that the shampoo I used at home would be fine. I was upset and just left instead of making a scene or making demands. If they just apologized at the start it would have been fine but they got me to come back to try make more $$. Unacceptable Emma and Paige!
