Edit: Literally the most frustrating shopping experience I've ever had? The whole process stretched out for months, with us going without a functioning fridge for weeks at a time. We eventually requested a refund and the broken fridge was collected. It then took 2 WEEKS of me repeatedly emailing and requesting the status of my refund before I received my $600. No sense of urgency, totally unprofessional, and no sincere apology from anyone. Never buying from Trade Depot again and warning all of my family and friends against them.---We bought a brand new, $600 fridge freezer from Trade Depot a little over a month ago; on the 23rd of February we called to say that the fridge half was no longer cooling. We waited a week (with no functioning fridge!) for repair people to come look at it and tell us it needed a new seal; it's nearly four weeks later and they have not returned. Our email enquiry was not replied to, and when we called again it was unclear when the new seal is coming (or if it's even been ordered), and when we can expect to have a working fridge again.We are really disappointed and frustrated, and do not plan to shop at Trade Depot again. All the staff we've interacted with are lovely and we don't blame the sales representatives, but feel we have wasted our money - we have been without a fridge for almost a month and had to waste a large amount of food which has gone off as a result of this.

Absolutely sick of waiting for Trade Depo to make good on their promises. Paid for goods mid June and promised they would be here end of the month. No contact from them and no one answers there phone. Clearly the owner is to tight to provide enough staff. Finally someone just answered the phone who is kind and considerate so at least they are employing the right people. Told the good would be here end of August so I have cancelled my order and asked for a refund,

I ordered an item that was in stock in April to be told two weeks later when I followed up that it was not in stock and wouldn't be until June.Based on that information and the fact I needed the item ASAP I swapped the order a different item of lower value (over the phone) on the confirmation of a partial refund and faster delivery.That item did not arrive until last week (mid -June) and I still have no refund for the difference in unit price almost two months later. I have chased this via phone and email every week to only be told it is processing.Not worth the hassle to get a cheaper item. I would never buy from here again and definitely wouldn't recommend to others.

An item advertised as online as being available in store was out of stock. Moreover, a cheap product, a 5L pressure sprayer, had an accessory missing, a wand, from a sealed box. I returned it and took home the replacement but it was faulty. I took that back and they replaced it. I don't blame the staff for the missing and faulty accessory: I blame the manufacturer, Harden. The lack of updating of the available items online was poor. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Firstly one star doesn't go to the local shop but online service. Delivery was on time, but our oven failed and we are claiming a refund since the beginning of May! Haven't seen money yet, we spoke to one person, two months later a new lady who doesn't have our previous emails has contacted us again. Be careful about their online customer service.Yes writing this review as a very disappointed customer, who hopes our money will be returned. Won't be using Trade Depot again. Unfortunately.

Bought vogue washing machine 2 days ago $1000, firstly delays in shipment and then machine part failure in second use and it flooded my whole garage and damaged my electrical equipments. Called team they disconnect, went to showroom they said its an accident we are not liable and now trying to chat with them. They discontinued chat when i asked questions.Never ever buy anything from this store. There products are cheap but not reliable. Customer service is very very very very poor.Next step is consumer court for me now.

We bought two shower set and a bathtub here. The quality is good for this price. The shower door glass is 8mm thick which is quite stable rather than some wobbling glass door.The warehouse staff made twice mistakes. They delivered wrong items and also missed some items. They need to double check.Trade depot staff has such a great patience. Owen helped us find a suitable shower tray. And Sachin was smart and responsible as well. He tried his best to look for suitable corner waste three sided tray for us, but unfortunately there isn't. Then he gave us an idea to buy a two sided corner waste tshower tray and to weld the third side. A brilliant solution for our awkward situation. Great customer service! Great products.

It is now the end of June. We ordered items in March and was told everything we ordered would be in by the end of April. We finally went to pick everything thing up in May. When we got there there was still 1 item missing. We were told we could swap for something similar but it was part of a matching set. So we were told it would be in in a few weeks. We stopped in about 3 weeks later to be told they only had had a broken one and there wasn't any in New Zealand and they couldn't say when they will be in. In a bid to get the reno finished we said we would take the next size up. This was on a Saturday and was told they would have it delivered in 4 working days so I said as long as it was here before the weekend in. I was guaranteed it would be here by Friday. When it hadn't turned up by the afternoon I rung and was told they hadn't arranged delivery but they would deliver it over the weekend and I would get a text on Friday or Saturday night confirming. I rung on Sunday to find out what was happening since I didn't receive a email. I was told they would put it on a courier on Monday as it is the quickest way to get it to me. We'll it's now Monday night and I haven't seen or heard anything. I now don't believe anything they say and once I do finally get my purchase I don't think I will go back. At least it I pay a bit more I normally get the products in a timely manner. And for good measure they are still selling the unit, I pity anyone that buys the item

Absolutely dreadful customer service. Ordered a shower three weeks ago and selected free delivery - what a mistake. Courier delivered shower with packaging falling off and parts of shower including one side panel missing - took over a week to deliver. Have spent the last 10 days trying to arrange return - only to be questioned over my ability to prove the damage (despite having photos and security camera footage) and to have repeated promises that the shower will be collected not followed through on. Robert at the help desk has been the only helpful person to listen and try and resolve what is happening. Never again will I waste my time and money on such an appalling company. Be interesting to see how long it takes them to actually refund our money.
