Vivo Hair Salon & Skin Clinic Tory St

I had my short hair cut on Saturday afternoon. The hairdresser was really lovely & great to talk to but the end result is choppy, uneven, and the shave up the back is far shorter than expected or in the images shown as an example. I waited such a long time to get a haircut & was so excited to invest in a good hairdresser. It’s very disappointing and it will be at least a few months until it’s long enough for another hairdresser to start repairing the damage.

I had the best experience with Diana in the Skin Clinic! Diana gave me a lash and brow tint, plus brow tidy. I came away with very tidy looking eyes and no black stains under my eyes.Diana has my highest recommendation of any beauty therapist I have seen.

Thanks so much to Vivo Tory Street for being so accommodating and booking me in for a last minute appointment. Having my hair done by Nicole was absolutely wonderful! She was very welcoming as soon as the appointment began, offering me coffee and checking multiple times if I needed anything else. It was a lovely experience as I have never before coloured my hair and my natural hair is on the darker side, I had a picture of what I wanted to achieve and Nicole sure delivered! I ended up with the beautiful light blonde I have wanted for years. My hair is still beautifully soft and healthy too. Thanks so much Nicole and the rest of the Tory team ❤️

Booked an appointment back in August for October (the week leading up to my birthday and a holiday). Received a confirmation text 3 days before my appointment was due. When I arrived on the day of , I was told my stylist was sick and had been away for around a month. They had not contacted me at all to let me know that my stylist was not available and had cancelled my appointment all together. I was then told their next available appointment wouldn’t be until the following week. Only managed to find an appointment this week with the Upper Hutt branch (which is a 35 min drive from my house) as every other city branch was booked out due to late notice. Very disappointing and unprofessional service. I won’t be returning to the Tory Street branch.EDIT: From their below reply they didn’t even bother to read my review or feedback. Tory street Vivo you did not help me at all!

I had a wonderful hydrojelly facial today with Diana. She was so friendly and welcoming and I loved it. Diana is very professional and has so much knowledge. My skin felt so hydrated, healthy and glowing. An added bonus was an amazing head, neck and shoulder massage. Thank you Diana and Vivo.

Abi was super friendly and so easy to talk to! She did such a good job on my haircut, and I’ll definitely go back to her next time!

Absolute poor service, I booked appointment with them for 2:30 pm and got confirmation email as well when I go there after taking half day off from my job , they replied they do not have appointment and can not arrange for it as well and not even apologise, such a time waste. They don’t value customer time, will not go there again NEVER recommend.

Exceptional! I was sent here after another salon did my hair and it was a mess. Sophie at this salon fixed it, did a wonderful job, and the other staff were also very nice.Got a cool toned ombre.

Diana from the skin clinic has been great, so knowledgeable, helpful and generous with her time to help improve my skin condition.

I came in for a hair redo yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Jackie was fabulous; she made me feel so comfortable and made me feel like a glam queen with gorgeous hair! Thank you for giving me a toner to soften some highlights in my hair. Excellent service.
