Ordered fish n chips from here. Well cooked but the snapper was tasteless. Hardly any salt. And only a small amount of chips. That's why I give it 3 stars out of 5. Mussels where spot on though. Thanks for the amazing service and tasty coffee.

Perfect stop ovee when traveling along the west coast. Not many cafes along the state highway so this place is a gem. Public toilets are just beside as well so its a convenient location.

Great friendly cafe for a quick and easy stop off when travelling. It was a cold day and everyone seemed to be ordering the take aways so we followed the trend and ordered hot chips and hot dogs. All the food was yummy and reasonably priced and service was quick. Would recommend.

Got charged extra for chicken salt & didn't get it. Also the Asian lady talk negative about a fellow small business owner across the road. Will be waiting for caravan to open next time I want food here

The service was good and the food was hot, tasty and well priced. We tried the mini mince pie and beef nachos. The only down side is the cafe is on a highway so there’s not much to look at

A small cafe which is in an ideal location to break up your journey traveling. Food was ok but the coffee was a bit weak. Place can get busy at the right hour in the morning. Nice and friendly staff. The place is otherwise very basic and serves as a rest stop.

I live here in mokau. I am for ever grateful for their customer service the daughter is an amazing service attendant. Definitely call in and have a look. It's quite an appealing Lil Cafe food bar

This cafes food is very average, dont get the hot chips they are uneatable, the staff are friendly and its generally clean. This cafe could be so much better if they updated the food from the 1970s to the 2000s.

A great little find! The staff were friendly! We had a Date and Orange Scone, an Iced Coffee an Iced Americano! The scone was so light and delicious and the drinks were amazing! Will return when we have another trip to New Plymouth!
