Wild Estate Vineyard, Wild on Waiheke Activities & Waiheke Island Brewery

Was really good food and wine. Bit surprised at the service at the end. Would have had another drink but once we had ordered we had no more attention.

Did the Hop On Hop off the tour and booked for lunch at Wild Estate. Food was fantastic and lots of things to do. After lunch popped downstairs to try the flight of wines and beer. Great day out on Waiheke Island

We had a terrific day here. Terrific tasting with lots of information. Very knowledgeable, attentive staff. Great pizza. Lovely wine.

Good first impressions, but the price for platers and wine flights were 3 very small samples for $20.Ordered buffalo wings for and they came out the size of small chicken wings, hardly buffalo wings at all.Onion rings were also small portionsOverall we felt they were only there to take our money.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered the salmon and also one of the pizzas - sausage and cilantro. My husband tried one of the drinks - the Pimms, which he loved - local ginger beer was one of the ingredients.The salmon was AMAZING - served cold which was super refreshing on a hot day. It was atop a bed of coarsely blended peas and fresh beets, and had lemon creamed ricotta - topped with micro greens and spiralized beets. SO GOOD. The pizza was also great and was served on a wooden board.Service was okay - our sever was either new or not very well educated on the menu. She was unable to describe dishes in detail but everything was so good and we weren’t in a rush.There were some lawn games and archery - but the archery cost a lot per person so we skipped.Very cute setting with lots of outdoor seating!

Lovely building and nice staff, but…tastings were very small and expensive for what you get in compared to other places in NZ. Ordered the sharing platter for 2 and it came out suspiciously quickly (given it has lamb and brisket on) and it was lukewarm. The brisket was just roast beef, lamb was tough and the ‘home baked’ bread rolls were like rolls you get on the plane. All felt a bit cheap.

Really big venue with lots of outdoor and indoor seating options. Service was excellent and there's an overall relaxed feel, not to mention all the different games and activities you can do. Tried their wasabi lager which was surprisingly refreshing (with a good hit of wasabi flavour!). The Chardonnay was a real standout too.

We went there for an office party with a group of 50 people. Welcome drinks, team games, two course meals and three drinks per person were included in our package.Very beautiful place to spend the day.

We were a party of 3 out to spend our afternoon wine tasting. This was the fourth of four stops on our ad hoc Waiheke Island winery tour. We arrived around 4 p.m. without reservations looking to do a wine tasting. The restaurant/pub was an open air covered pavillion structure - furnished with very comfortable seating I would add. The grounds were set up for a number of outdoor activities which was interesting and a very large group was already seated with festivities on-going. It is easy to see this is not your average winery/brew pub. After checking out the wines available for tasting, we switched to beer - a very good call on our part. We reviewed the available beers with our server and set about ordering flights of beer and appetizers for the table. It was a visit with good beer, good food, great service in a unique setting. We HIGHLY recommend this vineyard/craft brewery for your own wine/beer tasting tour.
