Pilbrows Watchmakers

Once again Pilbrows are excellent, a pin fell out of my strap and they fixed it on the spot (luckily for me as they're normally busy) with no dramas. My only disappointment is they haven't opened a branch in my hometown of Hamilton yet (hint,hint), the only watch shop I 100% trust!

I found the Pilbrows team to be really responsive and professional. They serviced my vintage Yema watch in a very timely manner, that included providing the results of a successful water pressure test. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting a watch serviced or repaired!

Very disappointed in this place. I put my grandmas clock in to be repaired in April. They said they would assess it and give me a quote. I waited 2 months and hadn't heard anything from them. I went in and asked for an update to be told they were short staffed and someone would be in contact soon. 2 or 3 times I was told someone would contact me and I'm still waiting on those calls. Finally I got a quote and told 4 weeks turnaround. After not hearing anything from them I went into the shop several times to get an update and each time I got we are short staffed and someone will contact you soon.After waiting so long (October now!!) I finally told them I just wanted my clock back regardless if it was fixed or not to be told the was on the bench having final checks and would be ready within a week or I could pay $65 now to collect it. Thinking it would be done I waited a further week. After calling them AGAIN i was told the clock was ready and i could collect it from the workshop.Got my clock back paid the $125 or whatever it was and the clock still doesn't work! Waste of money, time and effort. Very very poor communication and disappointed in the end result. Certainly would not recommend.

Very impressed with the highly professional and friendly service here. They provided a detailed estimate, which seemed very reasonable, and responded very quickly to my emails. I will absolutely be using Pilbrows for any future watch repairs!

I had my watch strap replaced by the team at Pilbrows. I reached out and they were able to source the strap from overseas, I then couriered my watch down from Auckland and they did the replacement extremely quickly and sent it straight back up. They made this entire process as easy and fast as possible, and my watch is looking great!

Real genuine people, and wonderful to buy from. I'm so pleased with my watch. Pilbrows were so accommodating, courteous, professional and had great communication. Sent in an old Citizen watch for repair. Unfortunately parts were not available and so Citizen offered a substantial discount on any watch in their range.Pilbrow were really responsive to a multitude of queries and the communication was always clear and prompt. New watch ordered after 2:00pm on a Tuesday and received by 9:00am Wednesday morning.Superb service all round.

Put my Omega Seamaster in for service as found Pilbrows to be the best price in NZ for cost and honesty. Communications was great and happy with the work done. Highly recommended.
