Eco Dolphin Tour:Don't get me wrong, we saw dolphins and that was great, but I felt like this was the whitest tour ever. I would have loved to know about the history of the area, but we were told only stories about James Cook, and various local millionaires, with one mention of someone Māori, and that was basically a savage axe murderer". Dunno

Great trip with BBQ lunch. We were unlucky not seeing any whales or dolphins but we got a couple of coupons for free trips in another time. Friendly staff with useful guide and tips of the local islands and beaches.

Explore Group Bay of Islands
Booked the Discover the Bay cruise, which includes the Hole in the Rock. The whole tour lasted around 4.5 hours, which included about an hour stop on Otehei Bay for lunch, drinks or even a swim. The boat was comfortable and modern. The crew were lovely and entertaining. A great experience for the whole family

Had a great time on the tour of Discover the Bay. However didnt get the chance to go through Hole in the Rock due to weather and the Audio system was fully functional so most of the facts being told by the crew could not be heard. They also arranged a delicious Lunch Buffet at Urupukapuka Island.

An awesome adventure for the day. Dolphins, seals and cruising through the actual hole in the rock was a cool experience.The captain and crew were great and our little island stopover was a perfect way to break up the day

EPICSuch an amazing day! We got picked up from Russell, waters were calm, crew were welcoming & informative. BBQ buffet lunch was delicious & the hike up the right is totally worth it for the 360 views on the island. Saw & spent time with dolphins and a penguin also popped up a couple times. Going inside the hole of the rock was very cool :) Fantastic day

This is my second dolphin cruise, the first was with another company during the summer which did not include a BBQ lunch. I'd say both were equally good.This cruise was great. The skipper and crew were equal parts funny and informative. I felt they really enjoyed their jobs showing us around even though it's winter low season. In fact I would recommend coming during the winter so the boat is not as full!The caveat is...it's all weather dependant. Don't book until you know the weather will be good.

Amazing tour (discover the bay), excellent boat and crew. The landscape is unbelievable and we saw a lot of marine mammals.
