St Thomas More Catholic School

I couldn't more highly recommend this school. It may be small, but it is mighty! Providing an excellent education to all of its students, allowing each student to grow at their own pace, with excellent academic results. Lots of opportunities, including Kapa Haka, Pips gardening, science and sports. The teachers and staff are all wonderful with the children and get to know each child's individual needs.

Just a great place

Wonderful school!Being part of a small, nurturing community is a amazing experience. From the moment you enter the school and see Jane always welcoming you with a smile to the Principal Kath Joblin knowing each child, parent and all siblings by name. It’s lovely to see my daughter flourishing academically, socially, physically, spiritually and emotionally. They are fabulous teachers in this school!

I'm so pleased I found this school. It has provided a wonderful community for our family with a nuturing school environment. The tamariki are treated as individuals and provided with an opportunity to thrive at their own pace with the school offering plenty of opportunities including science programmes, the PIPS programme and great performance in local sports.

Almost this entire building (and it is all one building excluding a part of the school) has been inspired by Freemasonry, just look at it. I went for a meeting here once or twice in 2002 and was followed in then hounded by a follower of the flock who said he had a problem with arguing with and beating his wife. A large room built for masses, one of the largest I have ever been in. Tithing goes on here. Just don't be taken advantage of by the flock. If you aren't already Catholic then I strongly suggest avoiding this church completely and finding friends and help elsewhere... not in any church. This church would have to be the largest in Tauranga.

A lovely small school where all the children know each other. Since being part of the school we have felt very welcomed and part of the the community. Highly recommend St Thomas more school.
