Excellent experience with Onestaff. Applied for a job on Wednesday and started working the following Monday. After four months this roll has become permanent with a well known logistics company. A big thank you to Brittany and Fiona at the Christchurch office who were great to work with. Thoroughly recommend Onestaff for anyone looking for steady employment.

After applying the other day for a permanent role advertised on both Seek and Trade Me jobs I followed up with a phone call showing my interest. I spoke with a staff member who informed me that in order to find out more about the role I would need to come in and register with them before discussing the roll further, I felt that was fair enough. I was then sent an email with another staff member copied in (as she was the contact person for the advertised position). The email informed me where to come and what to bring for the registration process the following day. After arriving the following day I payed for parking outside and went up. At reception I was asked to watch an induction video and fill out the paperwork for the registration process, (this took just under an hour as advised). I asked what the temp forms were for as I had applied for a permanent role. The receptionist asked which role it was, then went and got the relevant staff member. The staff member for the role apologised that the advertised position had been filled in over a week ago. Upon questioning, she said that they couldn't pull the advert. I questioned why they had got me to come in for a job which was unavailable? She once again apologised, but didn't explain.Then she proceeded to offer me temp work in an industry outside of that I was seeking work in. I found this all a rather frustrating and misleading experience, and very unprofessional. Its a waste of time, money, and resources. But more importantly for some it's more the toll it takes due to emotional investment that people put in to finding a job, and then being told it doesn't really exist. Thus because someone didn't do their due diligence, is rather draining and a big let down. I hope One Staff use this as a learning experience to improve so that other people may have a more pleasant experience.*Since posting this review Darryl has been pro-active and followed up with me, he has taken my points seriously and used this example to improve the training of his staff. I commend him for this and have improved the rating accordingly.

First experience with a temp agency, they found me an ongoing job direct to my skill set.A real pleasure to deal with and I would highly recommend for those looking to find their feet in the work force, or some work to fill in the gaps.A great example of how i think a temp agency should work!Thanks Jackie and Kristan :)

They are a SHAME! They just create fake job opportunities on trademe so that you have to join their company to apply. Then they tell you that possition is no longer available and then you never get a job. They don't care about your necessities. My sister and I went to an interview. The woman came late and she didn't even apologize. She wasn't empathetic with our situation and we ask her to call us to talk about something and she couldn't even do that.To sum up: A waste of time, very unfriendly people and they don't care about your necessities.

I went to Onestaff on the recommendation of my son who had gotten work through them. I am a more mature applicant (60+) & female with a great diverse work history & life skills to offer. But I just wanted part time work to suit me & asked for cleaning roles. Bless Onestaff as I got weekend work which suited me perfectly as a Cleaner. So Onestaff is highly recommended as they DO care about you & matching you up with work. They rang me recently to see if I was available for data entry work...was so thrilled they remembered me...but I couldn't take the mahi. Onestaff...Great Team. Thank you

I decided I needed a change from the job i was in, after reading thru all the jobs on trade me decided to apply to Onestaff for work. I was asked to fill out all associated paper work. I was interviewed by a very nice staff member who asked a few questions of me and about my work history. She was very patient and polite. After we we're done I had a simple drug test to do. Within in a day they had a job ready to go. I cant thank them enough.
