My girlfriend and I came here for a Saturday morning breakfast. Coffee was good; Eggs Benedict was great; service was fast, efficient, and friendly; and atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed.Overall a pleasant experience and would come here again.

Used to come here all the time when I worked at the Casino (2013). Met a friend while back visiting and sadly it’s not what it was. Why do all flat whites now come in latte cups as standard? Maybe just a bad day but a shame as I have fond memories of great coffee and a great team.

Delicious perfectly cooked whitebait sandwich at Blax washed down with a generous pot of citrus spice tea. While the entrance and indoor decor are no-frills, the welcome and service are warm and friendly.

Called in here to have a work meeting, worker was sitting down at the back. Prompt greeting into the cafe, ordered coffees, grilled cheese rolls and a toastie. Coffee was quite good, cheese rolls were OK and the toastie was nice, but had a bit too much tomato in it. A good tip here is to remove the woody core from the tomato before adding it to the toasty. That wasn't so nice to eat.

When you’re meant to get 25% off, and the shop multiply the total by 0.8 any Mathematics Teacher or their students realise there’s a problem. So 3 stars for average cafe (limited food options) and -1 star for dishonesty…
