Captivate Adventures

We did the grade 2 rafting with our 2 kids. It was one of our best activities during our NZ trip. Is was beautiful nature, fun, action, entertaining and always safe. The equipment was professional. And our guide Pete was just awesome. We definitively recommend this tour!

This was my first ever experience rafting, although I was nervous, the guideSam was outstanding in the way she explained the rules and safety procedures. Sam made my experience exciting, fun and memorable, she helped calm my nerves and when I was unsure of things took the time to explain them to me so I understood them. This has sparked my interest in continuing to open myself to do more rafting like this because of the amazingly memorable adventure I had. There was not a moment I didn’t like and not a moment that wasn’t worth the money, I will be recommending this to anyone I get the chance purely because of excellent service I had on my trip!!

Had an amazing time with Pete as our guide, went with my sons, 14 and 8 year old on the level 2 rafting experience. Rafting experience also included some swimming, a chance to swim down some rapids, visit and take photos in a waterfall, and diving off some rocks. Great experience and a highlight of our NZ trip! Highly recommended and worth the money.

Excellent family friendly trip down the Otaki river. Beautiful scenery and amazing guide Pete. He was fantastic with the kids and really knowledgeable making for a relaxed and extremely enjoyable trip.

Good day out on the water

This is seriously incredible. Their website doesn’t do it justice. The glow worms at night make it way worth your money, you will see thousands in the trees as you paddle along.
