Love it. Cheap, cheerful and absolutely delicious. Came here 2 nights in a row because the food was that good. The staff are great. Hard working and friendly. They must be very proud to serve great Malaysian food, allowing others to enjoy and have an insight into their great cuisine.

I went for the wonton soup and pork noodles soup. Was really lovely. Perfectly seasoned. No need to add anything. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Brooth was delicious. Enough meat and bok choy. Only disappointing factor was the price. Very over priced for the size of the soup. In auckland for that price we get 4x as much which isn't necessary as can never finish so I would say bring price down to be fair to customer.

Today i was having nasi lemak may favorite dish aside from sea food laksa. Very dessapointed because food did not come out as expected. The beef was less and no hint of beef present in the dish. It was to spicy to eat and shreded coconut was used for the dish. No ikan small dried fish. The core of the dish was the rice and the mix of onions herbs and spices is absent. I dont know how you would love this dish from RNS but still its not a nasi lemak for me

Best chicken mee goreng around, walk halfway across wellington city at lunchtime for it. Haven't tried anything else on the menu yet, the mee goreng is just too good!

Cheap and cheerful? Maybe! But the portions are generous and so are the hearts of the people who work here. I could go on because they ARE that awesome but if you're curious you should go! I walked past this place every day for almost a year before I decided to give it a try and I wish I'd done it sooner. Oh well - 7 years on and I'm still going. DO try the noodle soups or Hainanese chicken. Simple but delicious!! Consistent in this day and age of trendy and boutique food places that are a flash in the pan and gone in 6 months.

Had a pork fried rice for me and deep fried chicken wings and roti w/ satay sauce for my wife.Food was great and taste good.Downside for me is, they don’t serve free water, so you will be forced to buy a mineral water or softdrinks. I think all restaurants should have atleast free bottled water.Another thing is that, when I asked for a container to put our leftovers, they are charging $1 for it (and they are quite small).So if you are wanting to dine here, this is just a reminder that, There are a lot establishments around cuba street that offers free water and take away containers.

It was very busy as went during CubaDupa but service and food were still great. As we were outside looking at the menu, a man standing outside told us the food was great - the deciding factor for giving it a go when there are so many other choices. Great value for money and food was delicious

NZD18 for this plate of seafood fried rice noodle is worthwhile. It came with fresh prawns, squid and scallops. The rice noodle was fried sufficiently and the gravy consistency was to my liking. Usually I can’t finish a dish by myself but I did with this one. I just kept eating till almost the last piece of noodle.

Very generous portion sizes. I enjoyed the chicken rendeng ($20), however I didn’t realise how much desiccated coconut it would have and it was slightly overpowering. The prices here have also risen but that’s understandable with the rising cost of food.
