Thank you so much to the team for looking after my little GTI :) The team are very attentive, they know what to look for, kept me up to date in what was going on - great communication, parts, findings, reports and so on and made it all so much less stressful! He will definately be coming back to get the best quality care from HDR, from the first diagnosis to complete repair was a days turnaround dropped off before work and collected by the arvo, even offered to stay open and wait for me to finish work, excellent service, look forward to dealing with you for its future and my future VWs ;)

After receiving no response to my complaint I’ve decided to make it public.Dear management,I would like to place a formal written complaint about the courtesy process provided whilst I received work to my vehicle as per my discussion in person with the receptionist and mechanic on duty.I brought my mini to you for investigation... the mechanics i have no issue with... the issue i have is that work was provided without my consent.I was provided an estimated quote for expected work. I was tossing up about getting the car fixed or selling the car on as is and letting someone else fix it. I decided to go ahead with the quoted work as it was within my budget.I missed a call from HDR (I was at work and wasn't expecting one) at 10:49 on tuesday 21st june 2022. NO VOICEMAIL WAS LEFT. I returned the call at 11:10 amDuring that phone call I was informed by the receptionist that my car wasn't fixed and she had ordered $615 worth or extra parts WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I was then obligated and trapped into getting that further work done without the option of a second opinion or stopping the work and leaving it as is. During this call I conveyed my displeasure at the lack of courtesy and was told well we couldn't not fix it"... I disagree... At the very least a courtesy conversation SHOULD have been held.When I spoke to the mechanic and receptionist I was told "well the car was open and we had to make a decision"... Apparently that decision couldn't wait very long at all... to give me the opportunity to respond. However

I had a great experience from Richard and his team. i came in with sick CLA250 running on 3 cylinders just driven from Auckland. it was Friday and they were very busy. The entire team got involved and within an hour they had the car running smoothly. They did tell me it was a patch up job as no parts in New Plymouth. I enjoyed the weekend and drove back to Auckland on Sunday without further problems.Great work team. If I lived closer I would definitely get HDR to fix it properly with new parts.Thanks for getting a stranded traveler out of trouble.

Had a few issues with my car and mice chewing electrical wires. HDR sorted the problem and did it quickly and with no hassle. Everyone was real good to deal with, the communication was great. Happy as to deal with them again in future.

Absolutely fantastic and easy mannered service! Have always dealt with HDR and would not go to anyone else. Had a tricky check engine light fault that kept coming up and caused my ute to lose power. The team at HDR promptly sourced the part required and fitted it. No problems since! Thanks guys
