Not much to this dog park but one thing I will say is it doesn't get very busy at all so a great place to take your dog if you don't want him to be disturbed by other dogs (I.E. training etc).Not a particularly big area generally but still worth coming to if it's convenient distance wise.

Probably a good place usually, but not this week - grass not been mown a while. Was a bit hard to walk in the long grass. Dog coat got full of seed heads. Couldn’t throw ball to fetch, just got lost in the weeds somewhere. Bit disappointing but may come back.

It's not much of a dog park, as there isn't much here, but it is quiet and large enough for tossing a frisbee or ball around. This space is unfenced and joins onto the Skyline Walkway trailhead/Old Coach Road track via the stairs on one end.

We passes by this dog park on our way to one of the trails leading to Mt. Kaukau from Johnsonville. Well-kept and paved paths for walkers and green patch of land for pets.

A good place to sit down and admire the view of surrounding bush and of course throwing stick with your dog.
