Not friendly staff. Food is bad. I ordered duck open bao. The bun is big with a little filling of meat. What is inside the bao mostly is cabbage. They charge extra if payment is made via paywave. No indication of an extra charge. Not recommended to everyone.

Ordered the crispy chicken open bao *combo b*mini pork wonton soup- was not a fan of this.. did not taste like the shrimp & pork wonton soup, didn't like the weird taste of the soup, floating things & what looked like baby shrimp with eyes (would expect that in the shrimp & pork wonton soup)*shrimp & pork wonton flat hand pulled noodles soup- thought the noodles would be fresh they were gluggy n stuck together (found this dish the best, would order thos again without noodles)

Bought D13 beef flat hand pulled noodle soup and the meat was incredibly dry and had what appeared to be mold??! Not sure how mold can grow on dry beef but it was there. I returned it and just got given another menu item. When the manager showed the chef he seemed completely disinterested, and I was not offered a refund just another menu item that I had no choice over. I really enjoy master bao but this experience has really ruined their image in my mind. If you go here I recommend only buying bao or anything but the noodles as the second item I received had green flecks on it, might be normal but I definitely cannot eat it after being served mold. In their defence they gave me a can of Coke so all is well, I guess. If anyone from master bao is reading this, in future make sure the food you are selling is safe for consumption and please offer a refund first if the food is tainted.

The pork xiaolongbao is good, almost burnt my tongue with the soup. They taste like the ones I had before somewhere else, they were frozen. The tea egg taste pretty normal, like the ones my gran makes at home but there’s not much difference in the recipe so it’s ok.

The open face Bao was waaaayyy larger than I'd anticipated and i very much enjoyed it. I'd recommend to try those! The pan fried beef and cheese bao reminded me of a basic Philly cheese. It was also a little oily. Not bad but also not what I was looking for.You can see them hand making all of their dumplings and bao too. Which I think means something! Likely a good thing! Try it and find out I guess.
