Many varied walks be sure to have one of the free maps. In the mail box at bottom of road and at any place else.

Fantastic walking tracks, one of few that allow dogs. Well maintained tracks make it an easy walk with a fantastic hidden beach at the end. Plenty of fungi for keen photographers as well

Tourists, don't be fooled by the 4,8 rating. We came here thinking it would be a great way to spend the day, but in reality there are plenty of other places that are better maintained and offer more close by than this. Sure it's a nice enough park for walking your dog, but you don't want to go here if you traveled across the globe to witness NZ in all of its beauty. The tracks are well enough maintained, and the beach is nice if you don't get blown out of your socks, but other than that it's nothing special.
