Nate has been awesome, ngā mihi nui ki a koe! I was recommended to see Nate through a friend who thought he could help with my general low mood and (almost) fatigue. I'm generally pretty sceptical about alternative medicines, but was happy to try anything and really happy I did. Nate is very knowledgeable in his field and was very comforting and respectful in dealing with my scepticism. Since seeing Nate, my moods improved and I've been sleeping better. Most importantly, Nate is focused on offering practical techniques I could take away and continue practicing in my day-to-day to ensure i continue to reap the benefits of what we worked through. Although I've still some ways to go, I can confidently say his services were a turning point for me - highly recommend him for similar issues. Thanks again!

I have just finished my appointment with Nate. I rang him up and asked if he had a appointment on the same day, as I was in a lot of pain and could hardly walk. He kindy offered me a spot and started his work. I had cupping and acupuncture on my legs and back, and wow what an experience. I instantly felt better both physically and mentally! It was a very calm environment, and he told me ways to prevent my back pain. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

I came to Wellington to play professional basketball. Arriving from a long flight as a person who’s 6’8 (203cm) The airline economy seats weren’t made for me. Arriving here my body felt extremely tight. my hips were frozen. I also felt nerve damage going from my neck to my ulnar nerve, reaching the ring and pinky fingers. Nate is a down to earth person who really wants to help you get better. His goal is to not see you each week like most businesses models. He takes his pride in his ability to help you. He shows you the correct stretching and advice that pertains to your issue. This is remarkable and a true value. So he’s not just giving you a treatment he’s giving you empowerment. He’s done his job when you no longer relying on him. I’ve got an acupuncture from head to toe over the few sessions I had. I also got cupping in the target area of the pain and muscle tension. I instantly felt less pain from my neck to my shoulders in a few sessions. Nate is definitely the best physiotherapist. If you’re feeling any type of pain muscle tension or even nerve damage, then this is the person you need to see!

I highly recommend Nate as an acupuncturist! He was able to help me reduce my hip pain to almost nothing in 2 months that had been lingering for two years, despite chiropractic and physical therapy treatments not providing relief. Nate was very respectful and knowledgeable, and offered great advice. His treatments have also helped reduce my stress levels. Highly recommended!

I tried everything for my chronic back pain, physio, osteo, massage and chiropractor. But nothing worked, except for acupuncture with Nate! After a few sessions I started to notice a big reduction in pain. After a couple of months, I was almost pain free. Nate also treated a knee ligament issue, and again the acupuncture made vastly more difference than the physio sessions. Highly recommended.

These treatments are just what I needed for my “pianist’s wrist”. They are very relaxing and for musicians out there these are what you need to release all the tension from practicing so much. My hands feel so great after the treatments, they are quick and straight to the point, always works and very healing after every treatment. Overall experience is great and the people are really nice.

I have gone to Nate for several different issues: neck/back pain and tendonitis, and the treatments have been very professional and beneficial. In addition, I have found the treatments and his interactions/insights extremely helpful in dealing with anxiety. I cannot recommend Acute highly enough! Nate has really helped me with my back problems that I sustained from the gym and hockey. The cupping and the needles have really effectively relieve that pain that I have been experiencing for the past few weeks. Throughout my time, he has given me valuable insight into the steps that I can take to improve my back. Not only this but he is very knowledgeable about various aspects of health and wellbeing. Through talking to him throughout our sessions I learned a lot about various types of foods and the changes I can make in my life to live a healthier lifestyle.
