Buller Gorge Swing Bridge
Nzs longest swing bridge... definitely worth a stop. Looks small from the road but go in and explore - bridge is quite an experience... nice bush walk and history on the other side.

Quite expensive for what it is! We did the walk across the bridge, walk around the property, and the zipline back, which was about 15 seconds of flight (that's a generous amount). The end of the zipline where it braces your impact is quite a loud noise, just be aware. We have a top 10 membership that we could have used to save some money but didn't realize we could use it here unfortunately. The walk was fine, and the unique part of that was the climb down to a beach you where there was some brilliant white rocks half in the water you could climb. and the deep fault-line walk was neat!Pretty views on the bridge.

Longest swing bridge in NZ. It's much fun, especially for a family. A beautiful brisk walk through the natural wood. It's definitely a must!

There's a swing bridge and short trail showing the fault lines from an old earthquake. Zipline on return is optional, if you don't want to walk back on the bridge again.Thought it was a little overpriced.Interesting stop in-between a long drive. However not a must do, unless you have time and money to spare.

I am not sure about prices for kids. $5 no matter of child's age seems little bit dodgy. Most of the attraction like this are usually for free or half price up to 5years old.Bridge was good fun but happy it wasn't busy. Bush walk 15minutes took us approx 7minutes. Beautiful views on river. To be honest not sure if I would pay again for it.

Did zipline return at Buller Gorge Swing Bridge. Had a very bad experience at the zipline with my son. While approaching the zipline entry one of the crew came running downhill at a turn who almost hit us. Next no instructions were given at the start of Zipline. NO HELMETS were provided eventhoughhanging at the site entry and at the finish area my son hit his head on the buckle. When asked to the lady at reception, said my son must have moved his head around. VERY UNSAFE. Ruined all the fun. AVOID IF POSSIBLE.

An amazing river gorge and bridge. Fun for those who are happy with heights haha Lovely walk, would advise grippy shoes with additional walking stick or helping hand for mossy slopes all year round. We just crossed on the bridge and did the loop track but would have liked to take a picnic and pan for gold. Worth the short detour but beware of the narrow winding road and don't rush.
