After a few years driving past on my way to the tip and wondering about the little van selling hot dogs off the side of the road, I finally bit the bullet and stopped to try one out. I can safely say that I will be returning and recommending to all I know! Amazing hot dogs (I scoffed the whole thing in one go and contemplated a second, and I’m in no way a big eater!) and the brownies are DELICIOUS! Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. The owner is super friendly and the site is lovely and clean, and did I already mention the food was scrumptious!!

Oh my gosh!!! Killer hotdogs but the chocolate brownies, if you haven’t tried one of these, you absolutely must! BEST BROWNIE EVER, ANYWHERE!!

Definitely recommended stop off, whether you're heading to the Wellington tip/waste disposal centre, or you are just in the area. We had passed so many times and finally took the courage to try, and we regret not trying earlier. We are looking forward to our next trip near to Owhiro to come back again. Well presented, good portion and really tasty. Thanks Klaus :)

If you're dumping some recycling off at the Happy Valley recycling center or dumping some rubbish off at the tip you cant go past RockDog's. Located in a modified bus that is located on the hill on the way up to the Happy Vally landfill it provides cold drinks, coffee and a selection of custom hotdogs. I cant remember the hosts name however he was talkative, nice and welcoming, If you are looking to get a feed or need a drink after a hot day dumping trash look to stop by Rock Dogs.

Fantastic hotdogs!!!!! Can’t go to the tip without getting one. Also don’t be put off by proximity to the tip lol. Klaus is the friendliest hotdog guy around too. Rock on.

Absolutely amazing hot dogs, the best in town. My favourite is ZZ Top that comes with a fantastic chile Made by Klaus. Music is always spot on and Klaus is such cool guy, it's a real treat every time I visit! Definitely recommended!!
