MeloYelo E-Bikes Taupo

We purchased my wife's E/bike from Malcolm during lockdown in June2020. We found Malcolm to be very friendly ,helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Although my wife hasn't ridden it much since we purchased it the bike has very good components on it and looks nice. Bigger tyres make for a pleasurable ride. I certainly would recommend MeloYelo E-Bikes to anyone considering to purchase.

I am so happy with my Tranzit MD purchased four months ago. Kai did a fabulous job fitting it and swapping out the handlebars and seat post to my specifications. He made a minor tweak or two at the first service and gave it a thorough wash. Very nice! It's reassuring to know he is around for maintenance and repairs.I had not originally planned to ride trails, but Taupo has so many that the Tranzit handles effortlessly that I have fallen in love with them. I had no trouble riding Grade 3 on this bike.It's a brilliant shopping bike remaining stable with several kg in each pannier.I love my Tranzit for town and trails and Kai is so nice to work with.

Today I had my first ride on my new Town and Trail e bike. It is fantastic! Malcolm was incredibly helpful, talking me through all the information needed. He is extremely knowledgeable and I know that he will be totally reliable when the time comes for servicing the bike. MeloYelo Taupo comes very highly recommended.

kai took me for a test ride, rode both the tranzit MD and the town & trail. kai was fabulous, really knows what he is doing, and answered all my questions, and was so patient, i hadnt ridden for years. i purchased the town and trail, kai changed the handle bars for me, and was just so helpful. we are lucky he is the taupo agent.

Malcolm was great to deal with and I am loving my e-bike. Malcolm was very knowledgeable about all the models of Melo Yelo bikes and acceccories, but was not pushy. He had a great knowledge of biking in general and set my bike up prefectly for me. I have already recommended Malcolm to several of my friends. My 'Bootee' electric bike was purchased from Malcolm so that it would fit easily in to the boot of the motorhome. As I am 84 years young it had to be lifted over a lip at chest height which I can do. I am enjoying the exercise and the exhilaration of wind whistling over my face and expect to continue to feel confident in the craftsmanship and technology of my bike. The friendly after sales service has been willingly given. Safe easy assisted pedalling everyone. Richard Fowler.

Kai,Who is the agent was exsteamly helpful with talking me through the ins & outs of the wide range held by him. Also explained that he normally takes time to ride a different model & answers any questions while on the ride then changes cycles so you can compare the differences. Highly recommended. Hi Malcolm was a FIND.His knowledge of the bike i purchased was both technical and consumer focused. He held on to the bike for several months until i could pick it up and generally went over and above. I find buying products from this type of dealer is better than dealing with a chain of bike shops. Totally recommend !

Having evaluated a lot of e-bikes, I finally chose a MeloYelo. Apart from the excellent sale service from Malcolm, my MeloYelo E Bike is exactly what I was after. I was really impressed to the thought that went into the design, and that it was purpose designed for my age group making it the best out there for us older riders. Plus it is great to ride.
