Yamaha Central

Took about two months to get a tyre ordered (never got it) so I went and bought one for them to do a couple days after they'd scratched all the powder coating off my rear rim obviously not using rim protectors. No communication didn't even text me to tell me my bike was done so I had to guess poor stuff really.

Easy to find and park location....The service and communication from the dealership is average..but definately nothing special.... it suffices... Its great having a Yamaha Dealer and authorized able service location in Central Otago without having to travel over 250kms to the nearest city... I still prefer dealing with the only Platinum Yamaha Dealer in NZ... FILCO in Nelson... They are a Platinum Dealer for a very real reason!

Says it's open til 12.00pm on a Saturday but was closes at 11.30am and couldnt get a hold of them at all. Also another guy had come from Queenstown to see them and was disappointed on the same day.The telephone numbers don't get answered and the cellphone on the front of the building is disconnected. No note or other advice was available.Please take 2 mins to update your Google info guys. I see you're under new management. As the one of a kind for quite a distance, it's a real waste of time and money for people to come see you when you're closed and incognito; Especially - as in our case - we really needed some help and took a huge risk riding to you.

Great to deal with! stayed after hours to change tire to get us sorted after a last minute phone call. Would highly recommend.

Had a mishap on my mcycle in Twizel on a Saturday. Made direct contact with these awesome guys in Cromwell that same morning. Phone picked up super promptly and supportive advice given at their end, with a solution for my predicament. End result = mcycle transported to Yamaha Central then fixed within 1 day!!! Superb customer service in my book. Congrats to John & Rob, new owners: honest, supportive and nothing is a problem. These guys know what they are doing. Definitely the Central Otago answer to your motorcycling needs.

Just got a service done on our Landboss side by side and have to say a top job was done! Only let down was the staff member who didn’t phone us to say it was ready and we had been waiting all day and the awesome service staff had finished it before lunch!

Very slow service (weeks and weeks) Zero communication. Not once, but every time I’ve had to use them. Do not recommend.

Had a tip over on carricktown track - very rocky downhill - on my 1090 ktm late in the afternoon. Damaged the front brakes had virtually no brakes. Got to the bottom and phoned only bike shop in cromwell (?). No problem bring it here we’ll see what we can do. Spent about an hour with me and we found the issue so I could continue our week of adventure riding. Very helpful guys. Would recommend.
